You are just so good at playing the harp you have to read music to play any instrument. But, if you can play by ear, you have an amazing type of music. Music is life. The whole world revolves around it.
This is the best harp version of canon d. I've looked up other harp versions but they sounded like broken guitars and was not as elegant (as a harp supposed to be) as this one.
Stunning! I love the fact that you didn't do what many people do and add masses of notes to speed it up. The harp is one of the world's most beautiful sounding instruments for this kind of melodic music, though like all instruments it needs a fine musician to get the best out of it. Beautifully expressive playing is all that was needed and that's what you have given us. Thank you!
Just Wonderful! Such incredible finesse. The Harp is such a magnificent instrument, Thanks for allowing us (non Harp capable peeps) to experience it too.
I must have played this video about 10 times or more, I can`t get enough of it! I love the version you are playing and I must root it out and try it. You play so somooth and steadily, it sounds beautiful x
Truly beautiful. My wife and I used your version at our wedding and I think it came out really lovely. The audio quality is very clean. I still listen to it regularly and can picture her walking down the isle in the summer sunshine.
Hi Emily It's a beautiful song and I have to play it on the wedding of my sister and I have only notes for the small harp. Have you got some notes for the concert harp? Or do you know where I can get it? Thank you for your answere. Mary-Jane
Literally one of my favorite instruments
This is the most beautiful version of canon I’ve heard so far ! Can’t stop listening to it :) you’re amazing 💕
thank you so much!!!!

Thanks Emily
One of my favorite pieces. Such a simple melody and chord structure. Yet you can so easily adlib on it.
secretly Emily had recorded this song so that she don't have to play it at weddings

J' adore la version du Canon à la harpe. J' ai toujours rêvé de jouer de cet instrument. Peut-être dans une autre vie.

Stunning like birds of color flying through the air upon celestial sounds

It's so well suited to the harp. I bet you've played this one a few times!
Charming as usual, I always enjoy the musical interludes that you perform for those of us in your virtual concert hall.

beautiful! do you have the partition?
Thanks for the music! Looks like the Camac little blue 44 string? Nice to hear the sound of it when others play, I have that one, in black. .
Yes! I love my little big blue!! It’s so amazing 😊 It’s so great to be able to amplify it at gigs. I love hooking it up to effects pedals too!
Beautiful music 🎶🎶 van ben fastenau Middelburg Holland thanks 👍🙏
random question, does this model of harp have a line out? if so, what's the reason for miking it? great video as always!
This is gorgeous! May I ask which arragment you used?
it's actually my own! :) it's kind of a compilation of a bunch of different versions I've used over the years haha
Hi Emily, would you be able t sell your arrangement? I have looked at my others and I must say I like yours the best and would love to play it. x
Thank you Andrew!
I had sweet dreams last night because of you
💯
You should be a musician!
Maybe one day 😔
beautiful work Emily. are any of the notes sharp?
thank you so much!! :) I'm playing in D major, so the F's and C's are sharp!
@@emilyharpist thank you very much
@@anleathbrogandubh of course!! :)
Harp- biblical instrument 👍
How long time have you practiced for this?
Why aren't harps used more in modern music? Or are they and I am just ignorant?
Madam...
We have to hear this with different voices of distortion pedal now.
Make a whole set of music with effects.
Bach please.
I love Taco Bell’s canon! Me guata.
Is this arranged by Sylvia woods?
