Seether is a bucket list band for me! I can’t think of a single song of theirs that I don’t like. Shaun’s voice is haunting and I love it!
I jammed so much Seether in my "pissed off youth" early 20's. Such a great band. This reminded me to add them to my favorite bands on Spotify and jam them out.

Yes...this is a cover song George Michael did it originally in the 80s. But in my opinion THIS is the best version. Ive seen them 3 times in concert and each time was amazing.
The original by George Michael still bangs. It’s hard to remake a song of a different genre, into a rock/metal song. So props to seether!

As other comments have mentioned this is the best rock cover of this George Michael song. And the original is a banger as well. If you're keen to check out another cover they did, check out Seether's cover of Thrice's song Black Honey. Their live version on Sirius XM is fantastic and I highly suggest checking it out too.

To think George Michael wrote this at 17 is madness. Nothing touches the original but it's always fascinating to hear bands/artist from completely different genres tackle a song and Seether have smashed this in my opinion.
It's like the first song is forlorn and full of guilt for cheating, but in this version there's so much aggression and it feels like he's angry at himself for doing what he did, which adds a whole new level to the meaning of the song

The song is really about telling the truth to someone you love, and that truth tearing them apart emotionally and maybe worse even. So there's a lot of references to just holding inside the truth, even if you feel like you want to say it, or risk breaking someone's heart forever.

This is a remake of Wham! George Micheal’s Careless Whisper in 1984. Just for some background information if you didn’t already know. I was born in 1994 but my grandparents and parents listened to this back then and with the internet and genius you can look up samples of songs now days

Seether is the last concert I went to and man was it fun. I was 20 at the time and bought a beer, was all excited to drink with my friends and got thrown out almost immediately. Waited about 5 minutes and snuck back in, even got my beer back on the way in lmao. Very real dudes, lot of fun
