Mordecai, He's cool, he's serious, his favorite plant is a ficus, but what makes him dangerous? Here I break down the single detail that elevates his threat level immensely for me.

Headcanoning Mordecai as ambidextrous because of the whole symmetry thing, fits him well.
Very sure he is. In a QnA comic, he is shown carrying two guns around. If he is not ambidextrous, he probably won't be able to do it.
Very likely he trained himself to be ambidextrous, if he wasn't naturally. Another possibility for becoming ambidextrous is if the individual's dominant hand is injured in such a way that they are forced to use their off hand for most tasks, as was the case for myself. Broke a bone in my palm, had to use my off hand for basically everything.
There's also the possibility of him using his pistol in the right instead of his left in the pilot, as shown in the comics he is left handed ( most likely left hand preferred, regardless of possible ambidextrousness), with the swapped hands being possibly to not kill the crew he's gunning after. There's so much mystery with him we will need to wait and see, in regards to his feelings of Lackadaisy after leaving and joining Marigold.
To me what makes Mordecai dangerous is his ability to stay cool under pressure. That means he can strategize on the fly, he won't move randomly he will be like a chess player and make every move count.
As the saying goes it's the quiet ones you gotta watch out for.
Though it has been shown that sometimes minor details can flustered him, though this may be mostly played for laughs such as after a brawl that left several people dead, he seems entirely cool and collected...until he realizes he lost his cufflinks somewhere in the skirmish.

Well, a couple things with that:
One, the caption underneath the minicomic on the Lackadaisy gallery referrers to it as a flashback. I think at least some of the mini comics are canon. The ones with reddit questions are more likely to be non-canon.
Second: Even if a comic is not canon, Tracy is seems to typically keep things in-character. So maybe the scene itself didn't happen, but maybe that IS how the character would handle it. Unless it is a scene purely for comedic effect, like Viktor wearing a Christmas sweater and scarf, or hang gliding a large check to the bank. lol.
Oh, and I saw a few comments on the official dub of that comic that said that back then Cufflinks were usually custom made and were used as a means to track down and identify a criminal if their cufflinks were found at the crime scene. So if that is true, then he'd have a very valid reason to be worried about missing cufflinks.
Probably why Rocky is such a perfect counter to him. No amount of strategy or intellect can stand up to pure chaos!
The two things that showed me how dangerous mordecai is in the pilot, is knowing the exact amount of bullets you got left in that pistol, and that he can SNIPE SOMEONE IN A MOVING VEHICLE WITH ONE
What tipped me off that he was that guy was his gate when he stepped out of the car in the pilot and the about face and that face didn't bare anger or a smidge of annoyance just a bored professionalism like it was a Tuesday and he has to get on with the job. That made me fear him.

Mordecai is like a Tamed Rotwiler that can unpredictably snap every now and then. I mean he killed a guy just for having a runny nose 🤣

i noticed his breathing patterns when he shoots his m1911 matches the breathing patterns snipers are taught , he focusus on the target

3:01 Mordecai plans ahead for everything… except for Rocky. None of us could’ve predicted what he did here. But then again- that is a very Rocky thing to do I guess

He is a really cool character. Despite him being a super serious professional, its crazy how much humor Tracy managed to pull with him throughout the comic as well. I'm looking forward to more of the comic, things were getting intense!

Hmmmm…. I could see the likes of Rocky giving him a hard time, especially with how chaotic he is unfortunately Rocky still young and well well ambitious and crazy and a bit of a pyromaniac from what I’ve seen he’s not on the same level of deadly…. Yet he has a passion, but the meter still need some ticking.

3:10 that’s what I love about Rocky and makes him a perfect foil for Mordecai. Mordecai is cold, calculated, and calm while Rocky is charismatic, unpredictable and a little unhinged.

Incredible character. Never having handled a gat (we can't legally have them here in Limeyland) I never knew that automatics came left or right handed. As an amateur writer I've created a girl bootlegger who, among other things, is also left handed; this comes in useful in a shootout, as in the darkness her right-handed opponent aims to the left of her muzzle flash, thinking the gun is in her right hand. He's wide..... she aims to her right and pots him. (Spoiler - she wounds him and he's arrested, only to be killed by his boss to ensure he keeps schtum as to the big man's identity)

I'm currently writing a comic about a young black-footed cat assassin/serial killer named Jenni Graves. Jenni's father, Bruce was a double dealer and was killed in front of Jenni when she a child. Now as an adult, Jenni seeks to murder every head mafia leader in the world. Mordecai was her inspurrration. Sorry, I had to use the pun. Lol! She is quite similar to him in personality and cunningness.

Jenni also has a tendency to mislead her targets so when she kills her target, no one will suspect her.
1. She mirrors the personalities of her colleagues to earn their trust.
2. She prefers working in the dark, both because her eyes are sensitive to bright lights and so her targets don't see her shadow.
3. Jenni uses quiet weapons such as the Beretta M950 and Smith and Wesson model 17

Well, when I made this the main thing I wanted to highlight was how awesome that little detail that he was hiding even his dominant hand from his target was to me.

Rocky and Freckle might be the only ones that can counter Mordecai. Not because they're good, but because their incompetence and weird behaviors are hard to predict.

He's not wearing 2 chains it's just one long chain there are a couple of styles u can wear the chain

Rocky actually outplayed Mordecai two times in the pilot. Besides TNT, he also dodged Mordecai bullet, when they were in the car, possibly saving Freckle (he first tell Ivy to stop the car, and than immediately after Mordecai exists the car do everything to turn from his line of shoot, despite Ivy's protests and we very clearly see, that it was Mordecai who pushed him to do that.)
Am I the only one who finds Mordecai Heller to be the most bland, and uninteresting antagonist I've ever seen on Lackadaisy?
