For those who don't know, this song is part of a concept album about a girl named Kezia who is to be executed by a totalitarian rule, every song is a point of view from ppl involved such as the prison gaurd, the executioner, Kezia and this song is the view from the priest who questions his faith over the whole situation.

I definitely recommend this album (Kezia) to anyone that likes this song. The album is out of this world amazing. Their second studio album (Fortress) is great too, but it's a little more refined.

Rody's got fucking pipes. This guy is one of my favourite vocalists. wide clean rage and a clear scream. it's hard to find a vocalist who does both well these days.

i wasnt much into metal either but all it took was turn soonest to the sea and im hooked. im not an expert about music techniques or terms and those fancy acronyms..but one thing i do know for sure is pth has lots of difficulties in their songs and i thoroughly ENJOY them.

There 's a little bit of Watchtower in this song,even though the vocal lines of Protest The Hero are so much better.They're really great,one of the best bands of the moment.

I have to agree with SilenceSoSudden. It's not that they change the tempo. If you listen with a critical ear, you hear the time signature changes, they alternate between adding and taking away a beat for every measure.
