Herbert’s Rookie year he wasn’t used to all the WRs and TEs …. He didn’t get a whole lot of reps with anyone yet he Excelled because with a Great OC who is now a HC for the Colts … even with last place OL that year he made Defenses pay…
Just Pray for him and he will be Great to Go…

Gives me the goods shivers to remember how Justin leapt to action to be QB1 in the 2nd game of 2020 with hardly any notice and never looked back. COVID year brought challenges of distancing too. Remarkable to have a QB study & learn the playbook, practice with 2nd team, and have the flexibility to successfully jump to action so early. Stunning
Cant wait to get #10 back on the field. At least the staff will get a solid read on what we need to do moving forward with the back up QBs. Happy to hear it was a good day with the scrimmage!

I want to see them get depth especially by the time cuts start. Like I want to see a mason cole for extra ol depth since he's familiar with harbaugh. Even a Jerric McKinnon where he can be use for special teams and have a really solid RB crew of gus jk McKinnon and Vidal

I wonder if Parham will be strictly used as a goalline TE from now on because his name wasn't mentioned especially with Hurst on the team. I def think QJ gonna be the odd man out WR wise
You can put Josh at the 1, Ladd in the slot, Chark and Brendan out wide on the opposite side or for any deep PA targets. QJ will be backup slot for Ladd to get rest with DD for any touch pass or screen plays
Johnson will be that consistent WR that can catch you can throw in as a backup off the bench so he valuable as well
its just tough to bank on QJ if he drops the ball thats a wasted down and with a running system that literally cant happen. it can be 3rd and 4 and he drops a medium in route that could kill a drive

Chargers are just cursed. Finally get a real coach, GM and coaching staff and Herbert gets hurt and won't have any practice time to learn the new system. Disaster.

Herbert already knows the offensive scheme. He picked it up quickly. He will be fine when he returns
@@bessiemckee808 Tossing it around at camp is nothing close to NFL game speed, especially when he has almost all new WRs. Thats not something you just magically pick up in the regular season, especially on a bad foot. Look at how much Mahomes struggled early last year and he wasn't injured and knew the system. It's going to be a bad year.
