As an spanish speaker to hear this song while I was playing was an incredible feeling.
Cricreone Cierto! Jajajaja😂
As a portuguese speaker to hear this song while I was playing was an absolute nothing lel
NecroSouls as a Mexican i loved the part stood there heard It all while making Arthur drinking the liquor bottles haha
Cricreone yes like the guy in guarma who is the main police captain speaks broken Spanish for a second
@@Cricreone tell me why I read "breaking bad" as a Spanish speaker trying to say in english lmao
some people say they don't like the game or they don't like the story but this are the moments that make this game a masterpiece and people simply don't care or only pass by because isn't a story mission or side quest.
totally agree with you partner ! :) by the way, in the witcher 3 , i founded an option to make animation like sitting, meditatind, talking, and drinking and it made the game so much alive and fun !! like come to a beautifull place near a tree in front of a lake or the ocean and meditate while the amazing background music is playing, or come in to the tavern and sit and talk and drink with everyone make is so much better experience !!! its aloot better then just standing there without interacting at all. this is what is missing in alot of games !! but RDR 2 is amazing, a game of my dream. but i am sad that there is no PC version of the game
@@and1f34 "founded"?
I agree dog
RDR2 is the game of the century!
wait a minute... some people didn't like this game? Shucks.
I didn’t understand a single word. But he’s a good singer
Basically the chorus is
Cantal=sing
Llores= cry.
Ay, ay,ay, ay, Canta no llores.(Let's Sing Dont Cry!!!!)
Learn some spanish Daniel.
Ay ay ay ay, sing but don't cry...
De la Sierra Morena, cielito lindo, vienen bajando, un par de ojos negros, cielito lindo, de contrabando.
¡Ay, ay, ay! ¡Canta y no llores! Porque cantando se alegran, cielito lindo, los corazones.
Ese lunar que tienes, cielito lindo, junto a la boca, no se lo des a nadie, cielito lindo, que a mí me toca.
From the Sierra Morena, my dear little sky (aka, my lovely sweetheart), they come down a pair of black eyes, my dear little sky, that were smuggled.
Ay, ay, ay, sing and don't cry! Because when we sing, my dear little sky, our hearts are happy.
That mole you have, my dear little sky, near to your mouth, don't give it to anyone, my dear little sky, because is mine.
I speak english an spanish :v ay no cantes no llores xdxd
I felt so attached to these characters like no game before...Makes me damn sad how things eventually turn out in rdr1
I felt like a part of the Van Der Linde Family.
Me too. Ive never liked characters in a game as much as I did the gang. I wanted the best for all of them, but alas, they live the life of outlaws.
I just feel bad for the way Javier's story ended. Easily one of my favorite characters. Bill, too. Bill really grew on me by the end of Red Dead 2. But hey, at least all the girls except Abigail and Grimshaw, Pearson, and Charles get a happy ending.
Anthony pearson got a good ending
Seriously. This game felt like a TV show, like Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead, with the unique personalities and all.
I see Micah decided to sit this one out, what a coincidence
And bill too 😂
And tilly too...
@@cupcakewarrior4726 Tilly was kidnapped at this moment
That guy is the worst
He’s racist, so obviously he’d sit this one out. Lol or he’s mad he got punched my Javier
hearing everyone sing together is so sad
How so?
@@salvadorenoify Makes the ending even more sad. A group of outlaws who once enjoyed each others company, shattered in the end.
because of MONEH
I think this was a pretty happy moment it was one of the last times the gang was all together and happy
@@Sporkmk1 bittersweet it was
I think Javier could’ve been used more in rdr 1 and 2
Rebel American
Imo they didn’t utilize him as much unfortunately. Aparently their main focus was Williamson and dutch.
Change my mind

Yeah, there was a lot of mystery to him. I really wanted to know why John cried after he killed Javier.
Protoman cus that was jacks real dad
Hopefully one day we can get a back story for all the main characters of the Van Der Linde Gang.
Imagine if Red Dead 3 takes us further back in the past perhaps 10 years before RDR2's beginning.
Javier was great in this game, I wish you had more missions with him.
Imagine a DLC based of him!
@TheVortexLee There are some Javier Escuela missions in Red Redemption 1, but it might make you deeply sad to play them.
hits you right in the feels...
the whole family fell apart because of Micah evil ways and Dutch's paranoia
Right in the feelers
Fuck Micah
notice how micah is sitting away from everyone miserable bastard
The biggest column that held this gang from collapsing was hosea
@@spookyslitter4294 hosea was like a father to Arthur Dutch just said bullshit So he won’t guilt trip Arthur from seing the truth To leave the gang. Hosea was the more smartest out of all the leaders Never fell into greed like Dutch. Hosea would always Question Dutch on what’s the next plan.
For me this was one of the best moments in the game. I started getting tears cause I saw how everyone was so happy and that it was going to come crashing down. Btw that boy has a voice of an angle. Great song great moment in video game history
Thunder Snake angle 🤣
Thunder Snake That boy is voiced by an adult women btw.
Mobey Taguire I think they're talking about Javier.
Mobey Taguire your fucking kidding me
Thunder Snake Were you talking about Javier. Because saying “boy” doesn’t make it sound your talking about a middle aged man.
This game lost "Ultimate game of the year" to fortnite, and i'm still confused how that possible
Its was a third party award. I think rdr 2 will win the real goty award
RDR2 has and will keep on winning it all.
Well, it's free to everyone and it's on mobile devices too. A lot more people voted for it to win because of that and I bet most of them were kids. It's like how BO4 outsold RDR2. RDR2 doesn't have a PC port or at least as of now.
Fornite is shit, kk.
I'm confused
I thought God of War won
One of my favorite moments in the game. Stuck around for the party, got drunk. Watched Bill kick Pearson's ass, and then ended up drunk singing with Pearson around the campfire 😂
I'm going to replay the game and relive that moment.
i know this is 4 years ago but. i did the exact same thing haha.
This scene had me in tears. They're all happy. Seeing them all smile and have fun. Then after few missions, everything went down. This scene marks the final happy moment of the gang, and it's sad.
:(
The pinkertons made them shit
Best scene in the entire game for sure.
Sean would like to have a word.
Hosea's death was the problem 😢
Watching these moments again when everyone was happy and having parties, makes me real sad knowing how everything ended. It really was like being part of a family. When I played Red Dead Redemption back in 2010, I had thought that the Van der Linde Gang was a gang sort of like the O'Driscolls - didn't care about its members and only cared about money. After finishing Red Dead Redemption II I am very depressed lmao
Jeigo Lim dans when I started rdr2 I was surprised how nice Dutch was and how depressing seeing Dutch going down hill
you just said everything. Could not agree more
same. it gave me goosebumps.
RIP to all of our beloved fellers of the Van Der Linde Gang.
It really sucks. Aside from Micah, they all seemed like decent enough people, including Dutch. Dutch may or may not have been a good man inside but Hosea kept him from going insane.
I love how they really singing it out of tune and out of beat, it makes it feel more real and you know they're having a really great time.
okay now I miss them :(
This was the best detail for me. How the first “aye aye aye...” is the strongest and most in unison, and as the song draws it becomes more jumbled and a bit weaker. Awesome game
Arthur : "Well that was a nice song, now back to antagonizing the camp again :D"
Lmaooo
James007HungerZone More like Antagonizing Micah again.
Ok I’ll catch ya later then
I hope that Rockstar will give us a Mexican Revolution DLC and the main character would be Javier. I don't know why, but I really enjoy his character!
zphtrx i dont think that can be possible because rdr2 is set 11 years before the mexican revolution while the first game was set in the same Year the war started
@@isaacdiezdebonilla7538 Shit, I forgot about that. Anyways, I just want to play as Javier! He's my favorite character so far.
It would most likely not happen as much as how they upgraded Javier by a lot. He's a lot better than he was in RDR1 and it's almost confusing how he becomes that much of a prick in that compared to how he was in RDR2. Even in the end, he was very conflicted and didn't really betray John and Arthur. His loyalty to Dutch just blinded him but he wasn't with him anymore after that.
Agree
The develop Javir had in this game was insane to be honest
Playing rdr1 makes you feel you like the series but playing rdr 2 makes you feel like the first game was nothing compare to the second
I really loved the whole gang included bill while he was not liked as Character in the first game same goes with javir ( expect micah he was really headache even from the start )
I am curious to see what can they make in the next game
Without forgetting that we really loved the new heroes which is hosea and Arther
RDR 2 Javier, yes he was awesome. RDR 1 Javier is a thug.
Viva Mexicoooo!! Viva JAVIER ESCUELLA!!!
Viva la cultura hispana hermano !!!

VIVIA LA REVELAUTION
This is one of the saddest and happiest parts of the game. Seeing everyone here at their happiest and enjoying themselves and then seeing what happens at the end of the game makes me wish this night never ended :(
Everybody there dead except little Jack
This was one of the only scenes where we see the gang all happy together and celebrating. The saddest part is Sean wasn't there to see this.
Man.. I just cant describe how much I love this game.
I usually sell my games after finishing them but no, not this one.
Outlaws forever
tokani i feel you on that. I typically play the games and move on with my life. But Red Dead 2 really hit me hard. Harder than The Last of Us did back in 2013. The characters, setting, story, just make me crave more. Considering that the first game bored the hell out of me, this one truly tickled my fancy, which caught both myself and my friend by surprise. This game is truly special as I feel every gamer should experience this at least once. Red Dead 2 will probably go down as my favorite game of all time.
@@Pgc1324 Until Red Dead 3 I guess :D
Javier is such a great singer jesus christ
Poor javier he leaved his horrible life at México and joined dutch's gang But everything went wrong and that elegant and talented guy ended in México again
And then he got killed
The Gang is a family, and moments like this really makes you feel like you're a part of that family. God I love this game
This part is where I really fell I love with this game. I had never felt so invested with the main character and the supporting characters. I felt like I was one of the Van Der Linde gang in which I had never felt like that with any video game I’ve played. It was an emotional experience, especially since now I have a full understanding of why everything is in RDR1. It’s just amazing how Rockstar has crafted these such games into masterpieces.
Me too. Defining moment. Fell in love with it from here on.
Makes you wonder how gaming evolved from Galaga and pac man to something like this. Truly an amazing feat of humanity.
As i mexican, i get shivers everytime i see this because, here you see, Rockstar managed to transmit the feeling of friendship and family. Ain't art supposed to be about that? Transmitting feelings? Now if you'll excuse me, i gotta treat my L U M B A G O

Love ❤️ Mexican people
From Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
If you guys are replaying the game, this happens the night Jack returns form Angelo Bronte’s mansion in chapter 4
I’ve finished the game about half a year ago and I have to say... *I MISS THIS.* The epilogue is _so lonely._ I miss the campfire songs, the side missions, and even the little arguments and conversations you catch around camp. I miss the late night when everyone’s either asleep, vomiting, or talking by the fire.
Abigail, Jack, Rufus, and Uncle are great... but they are so tame. Nothing beats the wild family that was the Van Der Linde gang.
I want to play as Javier in a DLC, with him leaving the gang and going to mexico
Nice. Could outline how Javier took the ending of RDR2 and his thoughts and acceptance of the event.
Or maybe of his younger self in Mexico as a revolutionary
Arthur Wukovits or how he formed into the Javier we saw in RDR1...
Dude, you just give me an idea. Javier could be the main character in RDR3, which would be a sequel to RDR1. We don't see him die in RDR1, hes only confirmed dead in a newspaper which could easily be bullcrap. After RDR2, the American wild west is all but gone, but Mexico? Not so much.
So imagine RDR3 opening, it starts showing Javier in jail after John delivers him, then for some reason hes put on a train back to Mexico, you step off the trian, gain control and boom RDR3 Mexico begins. It works because RDR2 takes place in the year 1899, RDR1 takes place in 1911. Do you know what happened in Mexico between the years 1910-1920? The Mexican Revolution. So the next game could be Red Dead Revolution, main character Javier Escuella.
@@CrazzedKor Maybe he could met an adult Jack and his friends and join them. But you know, only after John's dead, because it'd be super awkward otherwise. The plot could be something along the lines of surviving a big gang (like the O'Driscolls) of racists trying to eliminate all traces of Mexicans after the "business" of the Mexican Revolution, as to not have anything like that happen in "God's Homeland and Heartland." And maybe they'll meet up with Mary Linton and her brother, it would be a good time, like the one in the video, but eventually something would happen and they wouldn't be able to stay with them. Like family troubles, death, or just pure dangerousness. That would be the epilogue, after the Mexican Revolution. I think the end of the game would serve as one last tribute to Arthur, John, and the rest of the good men lost in both RDR1 and RDR2. The title is great for it, too! *Jesus Christ that was long-winded...*
Man this is both one of the saddest and happiest moments of the game, you love being a part of it and seeing everyone happy, smiling and laughing but if you’ve played the first RDR you can sense this is the last moment you’ll see the gang like this and that bad things are about to happen
I am mexican 🇲🇽 and I feel very good with this part very good that Rockstar put this classical mexican song, like if you are mexican 🇲🇽 (Like si eres mexicano 🇲🇽)
This was one of mu favorite parts of the game, along with bulding Johns house. Really makes you love the characters
I… I want to remember them like this… Remember them happy.
One of my favorite parts about this moment is talking to Kieran, who you can find noticeably slinking back from the festivities, asking him to join the gang around the fire, and him refusing because he didn’t want to ruin the gang’s moment. That moment felt so human for me and definitely gave me a soft spot in my heart for him
When I played it, I couldn't focused on anything else than Jack. He looked so cute 😂❤
Jacks adorable as a little kid.
According to the actors this was a truly special moment as they were all on stage together performing this scene. The actor who plays Javier was actually playing this song on guitar and they were all really singing together and enjoying themselves, as the characters are. It’s a special memory they all have a get to relive anytime they play the game. Pretty damn cool.
This part was so wholesome
1:34 Dutch clapping😂😂😂
Last happy moment for the gang ...
As a Mexican the joy this brought made me speechless
Ack- when they first sang together it instantly brought a smile to my face- this game is so fucking awesome, depressing and- well it makes me speechless. If rdr2 is this good I wonder what rdr3 will look like if they make it :0
RDR3 should take place fully in Mexico. I would love to play as Javier...
im mexican and when i first heard this song in the game i was super super happy! this song is very popular in mexico and was written slightly before 1899
This year has truly been an year of amazing games, but I truly believe rock star really kicked it up a noch. Watching this moment knowing how everything ends made me sad.
My mom is mexican, i was not expecting this song in this game and it was a very pleasant surprise. Especially because it's part of what's probably the happiest time of the gang in the whole game
this is the most memorable part of the game too me (probably because im a Spanish speaker lol). it's just so depressing yet heartwarming at the same time. makes me think of the quote "dont cry because it's over, smile because it happened"... but you just can't help but cry instead.
Such a special moment in the story
Why does this remind me of the ending of Return of the Jedi.
The accuracy!
He has such a soft voice.
I feel like this was the last happy moment in this game, what an amazing piece of art rockstar created
i love Javier Escuella 🥺❤️
They were such a family, until Micah ruined it all.
This was so impactful, that night they were all so happy... which made me so sad. In moments like that no matter what problems there are, for that little moment it doesn't matter.
i gonna cry, seeing this after more than 2500 hours just in the story mode
i forget that the charachters in this game aren't real
When I was a baby, my dad sang this song to me as a lullaby to help me go to sleep.
This scene really brings the player together with the Gang. Makes you feel like you’re a part of a big, happy, dysfunctional family. :)
This moment makes me so unbelievably happy. The way they're all genuinely happy and singing out of tune, it's just... wow, it makes me so giddy, I love it. It's kinda bittersweet though, when you compare this moment to how disconnected and distant they are in Beaver Hollow.
I don't know why it seems to me that Beaver Hollow is cursed and also that whole area seems very strange to me
Ahuevo! Ese Javier Escuella se rifó con la canción! Cuando jugaba y salió esto me puso muy feliz :, )
When everyone was alive and friendly dutch
I started crying cos it was a time when the gang was so happy
Love him or hate him he spitten straight vibes
As a spanish speaker,Javier's voice actor did a GREAT JOB singing this,he sounds like an actua mexican
The way that they’re all so happy together makes me so melancholic. Such a beautiful story. 🥺🖤
Definitely not crying listening to this bc it's the last time the Gang was happy together . . .
Little did we know that things were going from happy to sad. This proves the gang was more then outlaws they were family.
I've never been so immersed in a game as during this party in RDR2. What a masterfully crafted experience!
What I love is that they kept the part even though the group was out of sync. Just makes it feel that much more real.
One of my favorite scenes in the entire game, so underrated!

Dutch say's we're just a simple country folks...this moment shows that having a big family like that worth more then all the money in the world...one of the greatest moment in the game
Even if I'm italian this song is quite famous in my country. People used to sing it at parties and events. Hearing it with Jack back at camp was amazing. It really felt like a moment of pure joy.
That man have a voice of an angel right there! Seeing him a decent person, made me feel bad about his fate later on.
This makes me think and reminds to enjoy/cherish each & every moment. You never know when things are going to end.
I was so happy when I came across this. It really feels like your a part of this family
I miss hearing Javier sing. Always made my heart feel full, especially since I’m Hispanic haha
Definitely one of the most heartfelt moments for me in the game so far and I haven’t even finished the main story-line. I do wonder if this scene was motion captured by the actors, like is Javier’s actor actually strumming that guitar???? If you look closely in game I wonder if he’s playing the right chords and everything. If rockstar really implemented that, then that’s some next level shit. Great fuckin game nonetheless.
Yeah, he's definitely playing the right chords. I love this attention to detail, it really makes the game
Attention to detail is A1
Yes he is ! ❤️
Yes, the voice actors have said during interviews at various conventions that this was one of the scenes where they were all on set together singing along. That's why it hits so hard. You can feel the connection and friendship between them.
I remember seeing this part in the game for the first time and ngl I got emotional man, just seeing the whole gang enjoying life made me tear a bit. Being Mexican American myself It’s really awesome having a Mexican character in this game representing our culture, Javier is a badass. VIVA MEXICO! 🇲🇽
This is like an old memory. It makes you feel happy and warm, then sad that those times are over.
I was so surprised when I heard this song in the game, last time I heard it I was on vacation in Spain around 2011 and a mariachi band was playing it. I really liked the song then but I didn't understand all of the lyrics. I remembered some of it though and looked it up to find the song.
Then years later after not hearing it I suddenly hear Javier play it in this game and all the memories from that vacation came flooding in. It was a cool moment for me and I didn't know the song was that old.
Spanish is my native language, and this moment was glorious, I felt the goosebumps, such a big game recognizing our Latin culture it felt good.
Me too, I had not heard the song since i was a child and my abuela would always sing it to me. I’ve never felt happier playing a game before
Y porque no hablan en español entonces?😂
Attacking the braithwaite manor was my favorite mission in the game. The atmosphere, how ruthless Dutch was made is so memorable
As a Chicano who can speak Spanish fluently, I had such a prideful feeling during this moment, I don’t really know how to explain the feeling
Saludos hermano, si se siente bien bonito
Nationalism... its a beautiful thing.
When I heard this being played in the camp I almost started crying because it was my grandpas favorite song🥲
I loved this moment. They were all having fun together
Just another one of them moments when you feel like you are attached to this gang .
I guess most of the gang was actually on set that day so they all sung this together. This was the moment when these people began to feel real.
Ay ay ay ay!
Canta y no llores!
Porque cantando se alegran,
Cielito lindo, los corazones!
Its moments like this that make this game the masterpiece it is.

I always heard this song and sang it in music class in my elementary school. To hear it now brings back memories.
God, I love this game.
Watching this again after seeing how the gang slowly disintegrates later on in the game just makes it sad.
This is the last time the gang was happy.
