This is the one I want to have for my self
i do worked in building foldable things, chairs, tables and seats and i really have a fixation with that, with mobility.
I really look for maximize the use and space of everything and saying this i have to say this: i really loved the last desing, its a gigantic size, great work!
I would love to do better desings than that, its really exiting
imagine transporting those to mars, it would be so cool seeing that happening

@@JohannRosario1 You. Can move the house away from the areas of hurricanes and strong winds.
They recommend folding during an extreme weather event (but I'm not sure you'd have time to remove all your furniture during those circumstances) but they also recommend connecting to the ground if you live in a hurricane (or or case in Australia.. cyclone) area.. one example of such a connection would be to have sonotubes cast and placed. The legs would then be bolted to the sonotubes
All the fixtures are pre- installed or comes after assembly. Like plumbing electricals. Etc
So am i the only one concerned about the furniture inside?
I like the building concept & design of this product, however would like to know the following if I can get some advice "anyone know":-
• Possibility of delivery accessibility to site on a narrow road / private Road
• Delivery in part?
• Maintenance, are high or the same as any other building?
• Could the location of drainage and other related service affect the design, could this be changed easily?
• Is there a two story building design
• What is the average cost per square meter
• Is the a planning requirement when specify this product on a project, if so; is it less planning complication, as a temporary structure should be easier to obtain planning (anyone know if that is the case)?

The biggest problems with these houses are the fact that land will still be very expensive.

After buying land and the ten fold house. It will be the same price as a normal house. It's not going to catch on it may make a small impact in a niche market. Also the materials look flimsy

How do you get electric and plumbing started in these homes… don’t get me wrong I love these designs and styles of homes but just curious
The idea is that these can be located where clean water and sewage can be provided, while electricity can comes from your solar panels. Also think of remote Trailer Village Campgrounds for RVs where they allow you to hook up to the grid. In the future you can also capture your own water from rain when possible.

I do think the hinges and the metal frames need protection from environmental elements to prevent it from rusting or breaking down easily.

So we haven't seen them doing larger structures in realtime as of yet.

Yes, its a concept demo...They do have real videos of there more basic design unfolding buildings. This tho is by far one of the more complete designs..Would love to see it be built.

While they look kool, I just don't see the practical use of these. For mobile homes on a trailer, sure a smaller scaled make sense. But most of these look like they should be permanent and they just don't look practical
Too many windows too cold looking inside aerogel insolation more solid walls curtains to block the light most of the time if its
still too cold put a jacket around the building to add more insolation and it's not very efficient as a all in one structure the biggest windows in the place should be the green house near the kitchen to grow food something like the lunar garden project not because of any mars mission nonsense but just to save money on food we will never colonize mars our kids will so don't worry about your not going anyway we have real problems here on earth it's better than a trailer park RV but it's not perfect I've got an idea one box for a house one box for furniture and one box of dehydrated items send to the house every week dried meats and stuff remember what Buckminster Fuller said about living in space but' also remember the sinister side of the people in charge
they are still reducing us to numbers someday we'll all be at minimum and they'll want to take more so if it looks nice and efficient and west coast then add a lot of extra stuff to make it work in the cold and don't let them charge more for the extras AK
