In the distance of Kyoto I remember the bachi sounding keeping time. The meter and measure silently un-heard in prayer. The tsuzumi interestingly keeps a beat with this concept. I wonder when read how the mutual concern of prayers can be given time with family and given day. When in Tokyo mountains I dream of the Tama River flowing from the mountains and how the rain gives a common sense with the sounds of rushing water as experience, a day, a time, a fond memory. Shared experiences of Japan are a great thing when appreciated.
