- Time before the bell to try 10 questions focused on classification and taxonomic groups? You'll also get answers complete with illustrations and explanations while music plays in the background. This particular video addresses taxonomic levels (domain, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species) and different taxonomic groups: archaea, bacteria, "protists," fungi, plants, and animals. Find more of these vids in our playlist here: • Before the Bell Biology

As a 52 year old preparing to take a secondary science equivalency, I love these "pop quiz" practices. Thank you!
I love this series, keep it up!

Thanks for making thee, I’m a 28 year old pre-nursing student prepping for a biology CLEP in the morning and these have been great for keeping things fresh.
thank you so much ❤
could you do a more specific video on animal classification ? 😊
My biology professor is obsessed with you guys haha!
lol for real
Thank you for this video❤
Fantastic Work
We watch ur videos in science class and boy do I tell you it's more interesting than a paper
Thanks for the help. Could you please also make a video on the steps of cytokinesis in both plant and animal cells? Thanks!
Q7 comic made me chuckle, again.
Amazing video
This video is great!
Can you please make video of the topic “DNA sequencing and it’s methods”
Hello Amoeba sisters, do you have a vid about genetic imprinting?
i love this🥰
You guys should start Chemistry, or Physics, maybe Geology, Geography, Math, or even World history, Computerscience, Coding, English.
There are so many things besides Biology that you can talk about.
Hi. Do you accept request for topic of this series?
Can u please make a video about potassium channels..kcnq gene
Wow😊
The GOOOOAT
Isn't Q2 not necessarily true though in reality? There are some weird distinctions in some organisms due to mistakes made in classifying convergent evolution that resulted in different phylum but the same class before reclassification?
I swear I've seen it listed as such in some disputed taxonomies. I'll have to check again later today.
Classification is definitely often changing and sometimes organisms placed in a class or even a phylum may be reclassified after new knowledge about evolutionary relationships is gained. "Protists" are a great example! However, if two organisms share the same class (or are reclassified to share the same class), they should then share the same phylum as it is a more inclusive taxon. But please let us know if you find an example of an exception, because we love learning new things!! 🎉
Lymphatic system
Great video, but I think you misspelled phylum in Q1 🤔 Either that or what the heck is a phlyum?
Oh such a great catch!! Thank you; this typo is going to make us want to re-upload we think. Or make a correction note - thanks again!
