- A Reminder That the PO-32 is Still SO Much Fun! (Sunday Sessions #159)
Welcome to Sunday Sessions, where the script is tossed out and we get right into the jamming! Today I decided to bust out the PO-32 Tonic, which is one of my favorite Pocket Operators, and still one of the best drum machines under $500 in my opinion! The major selling point of the PO-32 is that you can swap the sounds out with custom kits that have been made in the Microtonic software, either by you, or someone else. Today I'm playing a kit made by Jakob Haq, be sure to check it out! Enjoy the video :)

Yeah! Nice one! Just love the PO-32!!!
Same!
this thing is such a blast!
Absolutely!
If T.E. releases a sequel to the po32 like they did with the po33 I'd definitely buy it.
I've honestly gotten a lot of my "physical Microtonic" urges out with the 1010 Razzmatazz and the Korg Volca drum, but I'd definitely consider a PO-32 sequel :)
Did not realize the 1010 was so expensive. Is it worth it?
That dripping sound is sooo good! It was a long time ago I had the stock sounds on my 32, I should probably reset it:)
I was the opposite haha, this was the first custom kit I've had on my 32 in a while!
Freebeat, have you had a chance to play with the new Korg NTS-1 MK II? It’s so fun!!
Not yet, it's on my list though!
Would love to see more Woovebox vids 👍🏼 this has reminded me of the workflow paradigm of these small devices.
More on the way!
@@FreeBeatbrilliant stuff - can’t wait!

Korg ds10 is my best friend,,,, but, po-33 KO is my best friend too ‼️
Great jam FreeBeat 💥
Thank you!
Hey guiom77, is it worth getting a 2DS Gameboy just for the more modern Korg program/game?
I have the old DS, with that Korg game is 🙌 decent for sure.
@@kengreen6901 hello..let me translate and i will answer you...sée you soon
Rhythm or Tonic? I only have the PO33 KO
I'd personally go with the Tonic!
Thanks 👍the search begins
hi! this is probably a question thats been answered a thousand times but how do you personally get the line out to work? i cant find it in my windows audio devices and am unable to record audio straight out of the po 32. what is your method for getting it to work?
What are you wanting to record with? A computer? There may be a line in 3.5mm jack on the motherboard that shows up somewhere in the windows settings. But typically people use an audio interface with a computer.
Look up audio interface for computers or a mixer. Either one will work, but plan on spending at least another hundred bux or more to get one. Worth it, though.
@@gattearthrid I'm plugging it in directly to the audio jack on my computer, via male to male 3.5, as I do not own an audio interface sadly. tho it would be nice to have one
Nice
@@anothrnoml there are usually 3 inputs a mic in, line in and line out. Those will correspond to the windows sound sources. You’ll need to dig around the sound settings to find the input. Are you using a Daw?
