    I had goosbumps when i heared this angelic and strong voice telling us how lucky are we to live and how selfish we were not to thank god for that. I hope all peace for refugees, the most kind persons in the world, may them be able to realise all there dreams.

      Boys also need quality education, for sure. But here, the speaker shows us the reality of a culture that does not see the girl as deserving to pursue her dreams through education. It's sad that there are still societies that think that girls should only worry about being wives and mothers, when most of them would like to study and be independent. The right to education should be the same for boys and girls.

    I bet you guys think I only work with music around. Wrong, I continue learning as all of us should. I would encourage everyone that is interested in education, in refugees, immigrants, and children to listen to this. It is very important. Oh, and the refrigerator looks better too. And to answer the other question, there are differences between boys and girls, we learn different AND we are treated different.

      +Vahid M Probably you're talking about the regular and non-formal training in your country, which shouldn't be differences by gender, however in certain occasions specific education actions are required such as refugees who come from cultures where they don't receive an education like yours 🤔...

    being an american and female i have the right to an education BUT i was subjected to the constant harrassment of hormonal boys and backwards thinking that women should be treated as property vs a human being. "barefoot and pregnant" as my mom says. i can totally agree with what this woman says. i don't have a war torn history like she does but i can see it from my own history that everyone should be equal no matter what gender they are.

    I think the big problem is that there are cultures which force young girls to marry to someone much older (or parents even sell their daughters for marriage).
    At first we need to educate these counties that what they do is so bad!
    In Europe selling your child is forbidden and you can't force anybody to marriage at the age of 14 or 16. You can't have more wifes either.
    And basic education is a must by law.

    • @kaifsindhi588
      @kaifsindhi588 6 років тому +6

      That's not the case at all. She's relating her story on what happened to her it's easy to skew her message but she states multiple times (without gender) that she wants to educate refugees. She also wants to bring the point that girls shouldn't be treated below boys like how she was in the past.

    Preaching to the choir perhaps. Education has been not just available but compulsory in developed western countries for over a century.
    I would consider the compulsory education of all immigrants with language as a minimum.
    As for war-torn countries: I doubt there is a person alive in Europe that does not know someone that has not been touched by war. There is hardly a town in Europe that does not have a public memorial to those kids that have died fighting for the freedom you use to complain about us.

    But, it's not education that's she's talking about. It's certification. Practically anyone on the planet has open access to all of the great works of history and can educate themselves to any degree they wish, at a whim. You can literally learn anything, if most people cared about learning, which they don't. But, sure, if you want a piece of paper, there are institutions that will give you one if you give them a very large amount of money, or, more likely, if you steal money from someone else to get your pretend piece of paper. But, you know, whatevs.
