Your sermons always hit different but the mirror example... I just broke completely down.
After listening, I decided to do my own mirror. I wrote all the things down I struggle with in my heart as a believer, my heart sank. As I begin to paint over it like like I saw Pastor Flowers demonstrate, the words I wrote began to erase as I painted over them and I just completely broke down into tears !! How truly precious the blood of Jesus really is .
Years ago, God gave me a word to write my insecurities, etc, on rocks and throw them as far as I could into a lake, etc. That was teaching me His word "cast them as far as the east is from the west." Casting them is where you can't just reach out and pull it back...its so far away!. It was very therapeutical. At the same time, we must replace those lies with the truth found in God's word. Prayers for your journey. ❤

My prayer daily for the past few years have been “Lord cover me so that when people see me they see your love!”
Part 7 led me to 1... all i know is that i needed this.. it's a humbling experience when you realize that God is choosing how well you are willing to give up of the flesh with attitude and behavior. to truly follow God. This road hasn't been easy, at least for me, but the love i received from my God has changed me in so many ways, but most importantly, my growth and maturity. but in those moments i fail, God convicts me and repent to make the efforts to make it better. ♥

@Joni Hudson-Howard yes, I am aware but I belong to a church that I will continue to go to until God tells me otherwise. I listen to other sermons from at least 5-7 other Pastors, just to make sure I'm NOT in a cult (LOL). But in all seriousness, I love Jesus soooooo much that I literally "go to church" almost every day by listening/watching sermons while getting ready for work and church. I listen to nothing but Christian music and traded my Netflix in for PureFlix...I just woke up one day and decided if it ain't Jesus, I don't want it... So, I will continue to wish that he visits my church, we have e guest Pastors from time to time. Bit if not, I'll continue to watch he and his mom (at least I think she's his mom, she's a powerhouse for real).
The biblical love is all about who you represent. You cannot hold somebody accountable to your level of maturity. WORD!!!!!!!!!

It’s just not a good way to win people to the Lord at all. Excited for this series, and to love better in the Lord. 🙌🏾
Those are the platforms turning people away from God by preaching God as a genie. They get frustrated by not getting what they want then lose faith.
