That table perfectly shows why I have loved all 3 of your channels for nearly a decade. Well done to all of you. Off to go check out Jimmy and David's videos 👋
It was a true joy to see the three of you in Louisville. It was my first time seeing any of you in person and honestly I was too star struck to say hello. Jimmy's bag was too cool for words, David's heart felt answers to audience questions were wonderful, and Bob you truly are a wholesome experience.
And now I've got the full set. Of course your segment is an interactive game. I should have predicted that as well as you did the other two. It looks super cool and like the kind of thing I would spend the evening playing with at a house party. Great to see this come together. I've only recently gotten on the podcast train, but always enjoy when you three get together. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome Bob. Great to see the 3 of you finally doing a collab Love the podcast, it is hilarious, interesting, inspiring and uplifting. I would recommend to everyone
Now that was quite the collaboration Jimmy, Bob & David! That table is totally over the top amazing! I wouldn't have expected anything different from my three favorite YT makers! 👍👍👏👏
It is great to see you guys together, I’m happy for you. I recently started listening to Making It, and I really like it. And it allowed me to find and subscribe to David and Jimmys channel
I am amazed! The table is super cool representing each of your unique styles. What the table represents is the valuable information and entertainment you 3 have provided over the past 8 years. I have listened to every single episode and after show and look forward to it every week. Changed my life for the better. Never stop!!❤❤❤
In my opinion the smartest thing he does in these videos isn't any of the ideas of the videos, it the way he handles ads. There is no straight cut to an ad segment, he just puts them up over a building montage. That way you're still watching the video itself along with the ad.
Filling the holes with CA glue before screwing is something I used to do with guitar strap pegs when they became too big. I used to pack the hole with matchsticks and use the CA glue as a binder and produced a great strong holds. It’s also something I used when screws on the scratch plate or machine heads wouldn’t catch anymore
I had to cut so many 3mm rods for a model ship I was selling. And I found a good tip not as quick as the laser but if you score the rod with a hobby knife and then you can snap it clean.
@@Iliketomakestuff it was a really cool idea and to see each of your unique styles and ideas come together to make the same thing was nothing sort of spectacular.
This was one of the most head first - no plan - wrong way to do it - oh crap - this works - kind of project, pretty entertaining to watch! Those 3 segments really are your signatures no doubt!
Hola! 🖐I just watched Jimmy's video before coming here, really enjoyed your take on this build. Really cool to see one concept and one table made of three separate concepts and styles. This is a really, really cool project. Take care and have a good one, Adios!👊
I heard on the podcast for weeks that this would probably be the "ugliest table" but it came together great and each of your pieces were a great representation of your personalities. Nicely done!
This was so good to see! I remember meeting you all after your talk at Bay Area Maker Faire back in 2015, I can't believe it's been this long since you all had a chance to make something together... other than the podcast!
Great video , i think this table idea has big potential to become a internet maker challenge . If you guys came up with something amazing and completely different ,then imagine all the different styles ,that other makers could come up with . We need more Collab videos with you guys . Spot on with predictions :)
@13:20 this world be a good use for the baking soda and CA glue trick. Drill the hole oversized, fill with baking soda, fill baking soda with CA glue, redrill for screw size and drive in the screw. It creates a bonded plastic pocket that the screw can bite into without tearing the wood apart, it's good for repairing screw holes in cheap furniture.
Such a cool idea, both for your piece, and just the idea of a 3-piece collaborative table.. Have you considered making some kind of cover or plug for the holes, so random objects wouldn't fall into the marble plinko board?
I LOVED this. I really hope it doesn't take another 8 years to make. It's good to see that all of you are decent at math at least because that table fit together perfectly (or at least for the video!). Someone is going to be super happy when that arrives at their doorstep.
I think all 3 of you really managed to capture yourselves really well in your pieces. Especially loved David's bit, and my love of walnut definitely didn't give him an unfair advantage or anything either ;p
I like this idea. It's like folding a piece of paper into 3rds and one person starts writing a story...then passes it to the next person....etc to make a story
Bob totally nailed his predictions... Lots of fun problem solving in this one!
That felt like an intro he recorded last 😉
Thanks for being an amazing host! So much fun! Let's do it again in 8 years.
It was such a great time, thanks for coming out!
Next time the title will be... "This chair took 16 years to finish"? And again: "This 1/3rd of a door took me 24 years to finish"
Better start now
I love how each third of the table compliments your personalities so well! Really cool project guys!!
Thanks so much! 😊
Table isn’t horrible at all! I think it’s a great representation of the personalities of the three channels.
Love it! The fact that Bob's third is functional doesn't surprise me at all.
This method of doing an ad read is absolutely the best. If you keep doing it that way, I will never skip past the sponsored segment!
Oh!
My!
Gosh!
Literally some of my UA-cam faves in a collab!
The fact Jimmy did not sign off with “Love you” is a bummer!!! Other than that little nit pick this was AMAZING!!
That table perfectly shows why I have loved all 3 of your channels for nearly a decade. Well done to all of you. Off to go check out Jimmy and David's videos 👋
This is the perfect representation of each of your different styles! This table is probably gonna be in a museum one day 🎉❤
Big fan of all three channels. Was excited to see this colab. Turnout very cool.

Jimmy's bag was too cool for words, David's heart felt answers to audience questions were wonderful, and Bob you truly are a wholesome experience.
Enjoyed the playful spirit of your section. What an awesome series/collaboration. Cheers!
What a fantastic table! Anyone who has watched or listened to you guys would pick out who did which pie instantly - and I think that's awesome
So awesome to see all of you guys together!
I like the Frankentable. And surprisingly, everything lined up!
I needed a “love you” from Jimmy at the end!
And now I've got the full set. Of course your segment is an interactive game. I should have predicted that as well as you did the other two. It looks super cool and like the kind of thing I would spend the evening playing with at a house party. Great to see this come together. That table turned out WAY cooler than I was expecting!
Awesome Bob. Great to see the 3 of you finally doing a collab
Love the podcast, it is hilarious, interesting, inspiring and uplifting. I would recommend to everyone
We are so here for this collab! Love the game idea!
Seeing Jimmy work on your bandsaw was awesome! Great job everyone.
Putting a game into a table is exactly the thing i would expect from you 😅

Such a cool table! Love how each piece was a bit of each of your personalities.
Fun idea! You really got the styles right for everyone.
Bob, this made me uncontrollably smile when I saw the final table, thank you so much for this awesome video. ✌️
Your best collaboration ever! I love stuff like this
I had to cut so many 3mm rods for a model ship I was selling. And I found a good tip not as quick as the laser but if you score the rod with a hobby knife and then you can snap it clean.
The Frankentable came out great! Bob, your section looks like a lot of fun. Now where would this go in my house?
This is so kool!!! I’m so blown away by how it turned out!! You guys killed it!
Thanks! It was super cool to see all together

Great idea from all of you. Love the look and how each table perfectly represents each of your styles and personalities perfectly.
Congratulations guys. Keep making. God bless.
Thank you so much 🤗

This was so cool to see all three videos and your different approaches. Love the end results so much!
I've been digging the collaborations lately! Keep up the great work!
More to come!
I watch all 3 of you. Love all the work you each do.
I absolutely love this table! Great collab project with Jimmy and Dave.
That looks INSANELY cool! Well done to all of you.
Bob did something exactly like I'd expect 🤣 but for real every side perfectly represents the builder. It looks so cool!!
I can't believe Making It has been going for 8 years already! Wild. Congrats.
So cool idea! True piece of art with so much history built in!
awesome to see you guys all still doing maker things! Love the podcast and what you all do!
Glad you enjoy it!
That came out pretty amazing! I loved all three parts.
Awesome video expected nothing less from you 3 about time on the collaboration. ❤
Such a great podcast and a very cool collaboration to celebrate it!!
Brilliant work, guys! 😃
It turned out better than I could've imagined!
Stay safe there with your families! 🖖😊
I've been watching your channel for years and never knew you lived in Kentucky, my home state!
these three are for me Legends in making things! great video bob!
So cool! Love the Collab!!!
Glad you liked it!!
I heard on the podcast for weeks that this would probably be the "ugliest table" but it came together great and each of your pieces were a great representation of your personalities. Nicely done!
ive never been so excited to open a video from the thumbnail and title.
Great video. The table looks awesome.
Bob “Nostradamus” Clagett on the predictions!
What a cool idea! I love the final product.
Dude I have been watching your channel for years and never realized you were a fellow Kentuckian.

That is absolutely amazing! What a cool project. Now u guys have something you did together forever! Epic!
It is like friendship bracelets but for dads 🥳 Loving it
I've just signed up for the fusion 360 course I'm very excited to get started
This is the COOLEST project I've seen y'all build, not sure why it took so long to get it done :D
The math worked! Looks awesome great job!
LOL Why did David look so "deer in the headlights" during the outro?
Great work!
This was awesome. I wish I knew 2 craftsman so we could do a similar project.
Cool table, Love the cell phone holder on the desk
How fun, love how the table looks
This was so good to see!
I remember meeting you all after your talk at Bay Area Maker Faire back in 2015, I can't believe it's been this long since you all had a chance to make something together... other than the podcast!
That is so perfectly representative of your various styles!
Hello from KY. That Mammoth Cave t-shirt looks great!
Great build! God bless you and yours! Praying for you!
Great video , i think this table idea has big potential to become a internet maker challenge . If you guys came up with something amazing and completely different ,then imagine all the different styles ,that other makers could come up with .
We need more Collab videos with you guys .
Spot on with predictions :)
Finally! Great collab
This is crazy! Love this idea
So awesome! The first of many collabs? 😉
Literal LOL when you said David would make something out of Walnut.
Bob is actually a fortune teller - you can clearly see the future!
Great 1/3 of a build, Bob!
Jimmy’s style never change 😮
An amazing and creative idea, hats' off !!
I'm very curious as to what was on the desk.....

The most amazing part of that is having all three pieces actually fit together on the first try.
it was fun to watch!
The table is actually really cool looking
blurred object revel 2:43 ; possibly a hand holding a metal cylinder
So why blur it?
Such a cool idea, both for your piece, and just the idea of a 3-piece collaborative table.. Have you considered making some kind of cover or plug for the holes, so random objects wouldn't fall into the marble plinko board?
Now, that table is a perfect commercial for Fusion 3x120 :)
You guys are the best.

That turn out amazing and very creative 👍
Watching you put the pegs in the holes made me think of lite brights..... little lit peg toy with colorful pegs to make "art" lol loved those things
Goddam that intro was smooth 😮 Within 3 second you had me, a professional in every sense!
I think all 3 of you really managed to capture yourselves really well in your pieces. Especially loved David's bit, and my love of walnut definitely didn't give him an unfair advantage or anything either ;p
Bob was spot the heck on!!
Nice idea - liked the build.
I like this idea. It's like folding a piece of paper into 3rds and one person starts writing a story...then passes it to the next person....etc to make a story
The problem solving is impeccable
That is a fantastic table.
