How old do you think they need to be to start riding? I'd love to take my nephew out and get him into bikes, not many trails down the local woods but hamsterleys only 5 mins away
I started taking my nephew out at 5 years old. We started on the odd fire road then progressed to the skills loop at Hamsterley once he was able to brake properly. There’s actually a video on the channel of us on the skills loop.
Oh mate, they are amazing. It has 3 different modes eco, trail and boost. Eco gives you a bit of assistance but steep climbs you can still get your heart rate up. Trail gives you another kick and makes things easy, boost is just silly amount of power. 😂
This video shows exactly the guy John was , super caring & patient , great fun , loved riding , ride in peace mate miss you
Love watching back the videos with Vinnie, he is absolutely buzzing! What a legend ❤️
Brilliant John - great to see him learning how to pump!

What bike computer is that your using? Looks neat and tucked away behind the bars
Its all part of the shimano battery and motor setup on the ebike. It is a nice little unit. Tells me everything from cadence, speed, miles, range etc.
@@NEFRMtb ahh didnt realise it was an ebike what are they like for climbing etc

@@NEFRMtb what bike is it that you have?
It’s an Intense Tazer. 29er up front and 27.5 at the back. Pretty much the same geometry as my Tracer.
