The inventor of the PCR tests said you couldn't use these tests for this kind of application, but I digress… *98.5% of us who have tested positive for COVID recover. 80% of us don't even know we have it.*

One of my favorite things about Stan Lee comics (especially early Spider-Man) is his little jabs to the audience about like, "hey, didja notice how smooth that transition was?" and other meta commentary stuff. Kind of an early take on this sort of thing.
The intro made me so teary eyed that when you mentioned this video's sponsor of being you, I start clicking all the buttons like Ralph Wiggum did in episode when they all went to that Itchy & Scratchy focus group. I've read the other ones here, but I've never checked out Blank Canvas. Sounds cool!

Wow, a cold and dark intro! And I loved every second of it!!!! I recently got Covid 19 and even after I had the first Moderna shot so it didn't hit me real hard, but still recovering from fatigue.....Had my second shot so hopefully all this is behind me.
Bakuman is one of my favorites! though I have to say I've only seen the anime but getting a story within a story was really fascinating. It tackles the struggles of becoming a "mangaka" / comic book artist, it also shows how demanding the lifestyle can be that one should be ready to sacrifice time and persevere a lot if one choses that path. edit: Chris that was a killer segue pun intended. Glad you are ok!
As a lifelong comic fan I have learned so much from your show and have read comics in a deeper way than before I checked out this channel. Whether its once a week, or once a fortnight or more sporadic the most important thing is that you keep safe. Hope you feel better and wish you didn't have to go through what you went through but I hope you know that your work is really appreciated. Your insight and sense of humor are delightful, and you made comic books seem accessible to me in a way they never did before. I'm glad you're starting to recover, but don't stress about making new videos. I prefer to see a healthy Chris creating a few, quality videos, than having you overwork yourself. We're grateful for *any* videos you post. As you talked about with Pussey!, an important part of being a comic book artist (or UA-camr!) is work/life balance. (And, worse case scenario, you have a VAST catalogue of old videos we can go back and rewatch to tide us over until you post again.)
