I think Xander is 100% correct. I was thinking that as well. I can’t see her leaving back out in a fireman suit. Having the tunnels makes this story even more interesting!
yeah I can't imagine Juliette showing up on the monitors and Benard just opening the hatch to let her back in. he'd probably cut the feed and try to kill her. the tunnel is the only viable option. she needs to get directly to the down deep to talk. unless she walks over the hill with a giant banner people can quickly read, walking back to her silo would be a waste.
Here’s my prediction: 1.I unfortunately don’t think Juliette will be coming back to her main silo till the season finale. I think just like last time we ended season 1 with her leaving the silo I think we’ll end season 2 with her returning. 2. I think Lukas will be a pivotal player in the revolution, I think Bernard will be out of the picture, either by death or being overthrown by Lukas. I think when Julie finally returns that she will be pardoned by Lukas since he’s the new mayor. 3. I think season 3 will be setup for them exploring the outside and they’ll use the good tape to make everyone suits, and I think season 3 and moving forward will be drama with the other silos in the area I know I’m making season predictions way before this season is over but I just love this show so much I can’t help but speculate about it. Tim Cook (Apple CEO) is a big fan of sci-fi and he renewed silo for like 5 seasons as well as bunch of other sci-fi apple shows. I’m so glad they have an endless trough of money to fund all these shows to completion without threatening a cancellation
I gotta tell you guys , I really enjoy your videos discussing these TV shows. I started watching your channel when you were doing constellation, and then I moved over to the shows you've done on "from "and now I'm up-to-date with you on Silo . Keep putting out these videos. I don't know anybody personally that watch these shows . Its like you're discussing the show with me.
Very good discussion, a couple of points: 1. Good point about the tunnels. But also….Why doesn’t Solo just tell Jules that the tunnels underground go to Silo 18, she would be more motivated ti fix the pump. 2. Agree with the slow moving storyline. I thought that the storylines were happening sort of in real time. So for example, Jules has been recovering for a couple of days from the infection, meanwhile lots of developments at the other silo. But from what the book readers are saying, there is a very nice arc coming up for her. So let’s hope so.
Being Bernard's shadow is an easy come easy go position. I suspect that Lucas is seen as completely disposable. Once he gets what he wants from Lucas it's back to the mines! Or he'll go for a short stroll outside. Unless Lucas can make himself indispensable.
i'm hoping lukas will decode the letter and then do some "tweeks" to fool bernard and drive him to make more mistakes. but i don't think it will happen :(
I think Bernard first mistake was not listening to Meadows when she said he needs to approach Juliette not cleaning in an out of the box way, rather than following the order
Guys her story is slow because that’s HOW the story was written. The important piece of the story to develop currently has a lot more to do with silo18 and the ramifications of Jules leaving and how that progresses than it does with Jules and Solo in 17. There will be a culmination- patience!!
I dont think Juliet will get back until the last ep, but i think the next couple episodes we will see her help fix the water in silo 18 AND get a message back to silo 17 about how shes alive. i think her message will try to quell any unrest but will lead to a full silo revolt.
I haven't read any of the books, but I think Zander is correct. The show has been setting-up something regarding the Down Deep and the corridors. As for Bernard: dude has totally lost it. He's crying and talking to Meadows dead body--and he is not adapting to the situations that are developing all around him. He's simply going to his book, The Order, and looking up the prescribed response. The people who are opposing Bernard (Camille/Rob, Knox, and the Sheriff) are all using their intelligence and intuition to make their next moves. That's why Bernard will lose his power--probably to Sims; who may kill Lucas in order to claim the IT position for himself. I keep saying that Rob and Camille Sims are Macbeth and Lady Macbeth--they are going to kill to obtain power. How long they keep it, will probably not be very long.
I'm actually scared for Lucas. When he's done with that code, Bernard may invite him to a private dinner 🍄 😵 . Hopefully he has some street smarst and holds some information back.
I'm curious why Benard has no communication with anything outside the Silo. There has to be another level of elites overseeing these Silos somehow. It just seems weird Benard is in the dark of certain things we assume he should know about like the Vaults power source and those tunnels. I can't wait until we either see what's in that vault or that Quinn message decoded.
I have a lot of questions about how The Order written back when books were still printed, can know what will happen and what to do. It’s almost as if The Order documents the successful approaches from the 1st time, 2nd time, and so on to the 18th time? Or maybe they used a think tank to write it? Makes me wonder though.
I feel so bad for Lucas 😢 I definitely think once Bernard gets what he wants from him he will be killed or sent back the mines. Unless he somehow figures out how to get to the tunnels & he escapes 🤯 I would love for that to happen but I doubt it will. Also agree with Xander that It was the perfect amount of Jules this episode hahaha 😂 As for that moment between Shirley & Knox I did NOT like It lmao It felt so awkward & forced. Idk why I feel like Shirley is gonna end up being a mole
My thoughts : Knox and Shirley. Hate watching them: it’s a no from me. Walker - meh. Wasn’t she stuck not being able to walk down? Juliette solo scene - this should have been the first scene. The audience was looking for that the entire episode and they put it at the end? And without any explanation like how did solo create antibiotics? Is Jules in the hatch now? Things I like: Bernard / Lucas scenes. Sim’s wife’s plotting. I’m still not sure of her motives and I don’t believe she is solely doing it for her husband. She seems to always find a way to assist the rebels that goes beyond undermining Bernard. I like billings storyline. I don’t like how he randomly was cured from his sickness. So he lived with it all his life and he’s ok now? That’s bs. People who I think are marked to die: billing’s wife, Juliette’s dad, walker, sims, one of Knox and Shirley ( I want both of them gone but I’ll accept either)
They had the same problem From had when Tabitha got out of From ,only difference From brought her azz back in like 3 episode before that storyline could become stale. Tabitha storyline outside of From was still very up to the point she returned. This Juliet seperate storyline was very interesting too for the first 3 episodes, now its becoming stale. I wish Silo did the same with Juliet storyline, or atleast had more survivors/characters in Silo 17 inorder to keep that storyline spicy still.

@@electricme100 Lukas will talk to Juliet on the radio soon. They will make a plan & go against Bernard. The Silo will turn on Bernard.

Really glad i got into this series!, what i will say though is this season is no where near close to as good as season 1.
I feel like the plot is in a cycle bc Benard has been made a main character.

Yes her story is going slowly and now adding another barrier with Solo now forcing her to fix his rising water issue....
