One of Rearden’s coolest muzzle devices is the Minimalist. I didn’t want a flash hider or muzzle brake on my Marlin 1895 lever action rifle, but the Minimalist is almost unnoticeable. “You don’t have to worry about your suppressor coming loose” is an overstatement. You always need to pay attention to avoid that. That said, Plan B is a great system.
@@chipsterb4946 If you aren't installing a muzzle device then are you just using it as a thread saver over just direct threading the silencer? I don't see any other advantage to the minimalist devices.
@ I have one suppressor that I use on 3 different rifles, each with a different thread pitch. I tried using different suppressor mounts and direct threading but that was a PITA. Carbon lock up was difficult, and suppressors arent designed for you to be swapping back ends regularly. Having a HUB compatible Plan B suppressor mount and plan B muzzle devices on each of the 3 rifles is a MUCH better solution. With a lever action rifle, sometimes I shoot with a suppressor but sometimes I don’t. When I don’t, the Minimalist is perfect for me.
I have rearden muzzle devices on several of my rifles. I really like their stuff, well made and affordable. And they have several finishes. Swap cans all the time.
Several companies make thread protectors for when your firearm doesn't have a silencer mounted. 0.9"-24 is the OUTER thread size/pitch for all rearden mfg parts. Forward Controls Design and Liberty Precision Machine make them. I have several rearden muzzle devices and they work great. I haven't had a single one have an issue with alignment rods or anything.
Rearden does it right. Taper is in front of the threads. Locks the can on good and seals out the gasses and carbon. Wrench flats to get them out of the can were the muzzle device to get stuck in the can.
@@DonJohn-h8l I know! What’s with the brass colored muzzle devices, let alone “rainbow”? Q’s Cherry Bomb isn’t just ugly - it’s useless. Not a brake, not a flash hider. Basically it’s part of their suppressor permanently attached to your barrel.
Love the idea and concept rearden has. It is exactly what our community needs. I just do not like the designs/looks of there muzzle devices, especially the weird color way ones they have.
I'm really glad that Q's muzzle devices are Rearden compatible :)

@chipsterb4946 Thanks for the explanation. Carbon lockup on DT alone is a good enough reason.

Got Reardens on all my rifles, great stuff

Yeah, I just wish they were ever in stock 😂
Love my rearden brakes and flash hiders
Cool...for those that own suppressors.....

Love my rearden stuff. Q’s plan b mount is really nice but the actual muzzle devices they make for it are horrible.
I agree about Q’s muzzle devices, but their “Omega” suppressor mount is 100% compatible with Rearden’s Atlas muzzle devices. Both are Plan B.
I hate all the shiny mounts and muzzle devices. Glad that others are offering alternatives.

The best
BROWNELLS please make an affordable thread protector for the cherry bomb/rearden muzzle devices.

Just hope they free the CANS , I'm still waiting to get one just don't want to pay 200 $ extra if I don't have to
I'd love to see a rearden atlas muzzle device that doesn't have wrench flats after the taper. I can't bring myself to support Kevin.
Tell Rearden to make more brakes...
The only downside is they are out of stock most places most of the time.
Came here to let you guys know it is annoying as hell to have to add stuff to the cart just to see the price.
If if makes you feel any better they only do that so they can sell you the item for less than the MAP.
