Fun fact: This game and hit bartending simulator VA-11-HALL-A share a game universe thanks to the devs being close friends. There are cameo characters from each in both games. That's what the Flaming Moai Easter Egg customers were about if you found them in VA-11-HALL-A. So, yeah. If you liked VA-11-HALL-A, this one is a must.
Just discovered this channel and just scrolling though the reviews I've found a bunch of games that will easily fill up my time in quarantine. I love the positive vibes and the earnest love for gaming in general. Really enjoying this channel and wish it the best of growth!

Ahhh! I don't know which comment to reply to! XD Thank's for the stache flattery~ I'm diggin' the new look myself. And I really hope you enjoy the game. Seriously an awesome indie. Really raises the bar!
Great timing, man. I just bought this game the other night. I'm not a point-and-click/visual novel guy, but this game is incredible. I spend about an hour and a half on it last night (had fun exploring all the great extras and dived in after immersing myself in its world). I am totally loving it. A game made with such dedication and passion. Highly recommend it.
100% agree. I always try to go into every game blind, and this one was no different. I had no idea what I was getting into, and I was blown away. Typically not a visual novel fan myself, but this game is different. So happy I found it. 😄
Hey great review man, also props for pushing out the review quickly for people to catch an absolutely amazing sale. $3 for this game is a total steal. Your spot on about the dialogue options too, talking with Jess especially gave me the feels. Started off kinda messing with her to then hearing a deeply sad story. Great review of a great game.
Dude... I did the same thing with her. I returned fire with fire, and then I felt like a total jerk! 😅 Oh man, that particular situation totally got me. 😂
Please review Knights and Bikes, I been watching your recent videos and I can see that game in your current playlist but none review yet, I'm hesitating to get it sir, pls, thanks for your lovely reviews of indie games, always nice to watch em
Nice! Another visual novel point and click. This is super cool. I'm excited to see so many. I never thought I'd care about this kind of game but it has been great for my wife. I even grew up with King's Quest for PC so I'm enjoying these a lot now. We're playing one called Syberia 2 (finished 1) and it has a beautiful calm story with a fantastic heroine (that helps too. I'm appreciating how much more she will enjoy a game if the protagonist is relatable). Oh! We're also playing My Brother Rabbit which is also beautiful.
Yes! The Siberia series is pretty darn good. There's also a 3rd one in the series, for when you get to done with #2. It's funny, because I'm also starting to really enjoy the more visual novel point click style games. I always loved puzzles and puzzle games growing up, but I never really enjoyed the point and click nature of a video game. But now, there probably one of my more favorite genre's. Hah hah! I haven't played brother rabbit yet, but I keep seeing it pop up, so I'm going to have to put out her of you at some point. 😂
This one is on my wishlist since the release. Thanks for the review, it confirms my feelings about this game. Unfortunately it wasn't on sale in Europe. Hopefully it will be one day and then for sure I'll buy it because at 20$ I find it too expensive.
@@BudgetGamerChannel Guess what? It was on sale a few hours after I wrote this comment 😂I don't know why they don't do sale in all the regions at the same time but it happens sometimes that a game is on sale in Europe after being on sale in US, so I was hopeful for this one and it happened. Now for sure I'll buy it.
This is an instant like for me (since I already played 2064 multiple times). I like how they have certain characters (and a good story) without shoving certain things down a person’s throat. Also I wonder if he seen the early trailer for read only memory:neurodiver.
An early trailer? Nope, dont think so. I went into this game totally blind. Best way for me to get a critical 1st impression. 😎👍 What's up with the early trailer?
Budget Gamer Neurodiver is a new game that the makers of 2064 are working on. Same universe, but deals with diving into people’s minds. They had one trailer about 10-11 months ago.
Well, this is the 1st I've seen it on sale, so get it while the gettin's good, as they say. Haha! If you do, let me know what you think of it. Needless to say, I was impressed. 😊
Great video! That's a shame that the dolar is over valued in relation to the real (Brazilian currency) and even with a fair price it's kinda expensive here for us. Thank you for the advice tho! waiting for the next reviews.
3, 2, 1 Sold! This story is very well done. I know games like these typically have a low replay value bit this one is very different. You can truly turn this game into a laugh riot by simply making the wrong choices every time.
@@BudgetGamerChannel Oh my God yes! This game is one of the funniest I have played in years. I typically do this with every game that gives me the ability to create chaos. Okay, so I know this is a channel about Indy games but this reminds me of some of the things I do in other games... One of my absolute favorite things to do is play Watch Dogs 2. Not for the story mind you...oh no. For some strange reason the pedestrians in that game are the angriest NPC's I have ever seen. Once you have the access to the remote controlled car and some decent hacking abilities it's time to have fun! Pick any street corner that has a ton of people on it and try to make it a place that has access to a roof.. this is for hiding and watching from a safe distance. Stand in front of a red light and jump on the hood of the first car you see. This absolutely enrages the NPC's. They will get out of their car to hurt you. That is just the beginning.... Now, jump off the car and send it backwards causing it to hit other cars. The NPC's will freak out and will either get into a shouting match with the original NPC or they will immediately attack them. This causes crowds to form around the commotion. Pull out your remote controlled car and pick a random NPC and start taunting them with the car (it has an FU button). Within 5 to 10 seconds of this you can start a full blown riot. If you take control of others cars during this from your roof you can add to it until it's a full blown block war. The police will come and start fighting the citizens while you stand back laughing uncontrollably (I do). This is what I do with games featuring choice. You can do something similar with Assassin's Creed Odyssey with poison and kill entire towns. I have had both an Xbox One X and PSPRO hit single frames a second as it can only handle so much. I have actually locked them up several times doing this. If your interested in having a laugh and have access to Skyrim, I can teach you how to make a literal river of potions that destroy anything they touch. ;)
Whhaaat!? 😂😂😂 Oh man! That's hilarious! I've totally gone on full assassin runs in more than a few elder scrolls games. 😆 so much fun, but I've also screwed up a lot of quests at the same time.
@@BudgetGamerChannel Okay, here's what you do...first you will need a copy of Oblivion or Skyrim. Then you will need a game save that is a good way through the game. Now, buy all the potions you can. Any kind will do and fill your inventory with nothing but potions (make sure you're in a town) and make a save before doing this. Okay, go to a town that preferably has a hill. Stand at the top of the hill and drop your potions one at a time. You have to be quick going back to your menu otherwise your character will just drop one portion on the ground. Empty the entire contents of your inventory in the same fashion. When you get to the last potion prepare yourself because it's so funny that I had to walk out of the room the first time. Now, let that last potion drop and don't go back into your Inventory.... You will see one potion become hundreds and all hit the ground at the same time. The game freaks out and has no idea how to handle this and the hundreds of bottles take on the consistency of raging rapids. They flow down the street like the rapids from Hell. Anything they come in contact with get's heavily damaged. Generally it kills everyone in its path. Little hand carts go flying like missiles in every direction. Once the chaos has stopped everyone get's super angry at you and I've had them attack me on sight before. It's so random that I don't think it's possible to predict what will happen when you do this. Most times your machine will slow down to a crawl and can crash as the physics engine goes into overload! Try it, you will not be sorry! Addendum- make sure to turn your TV's sound down a bit as hearing 8-15 characters die at once while a cacophony of glass bottles ckanging down the street can be...grating. Sometimes this can get stuck in a loop with characters yelling arrrrgh!!! over and over again until you stop it. Have fun!
