    I like the additional fish, and I miss that one plant which was a wonderful green contrast and moved beautifully. I'm a big fan of goldfish because of holidays, other people keep those fish in ponds and such, so it's not hard to find someone to take care of one or two.

    Adding pothos, peace lilies, monsteras and all will help with the nitrates you seee
    And will give the tank a vibe thats like 2 different worlds merged together
    The shimmeeing effect created by plant leaves will take the tank to a much higher level

      Hvala puno!! Mogu biljke sa zlatnim ribama,dosta zavisi i od riba kakve su naravi. Kod mene nisu kidale listove,ali jesu vadile biljke iz peska jer stalno rovare u potrazi za hranom. Onda je krenuo diatom po biljkama i resio sam da ih izvadim. Neka za sada bude bez bilja,imam dosta biljnih akvarijuma :)

      p.s. Javio sam se samo zato što stvarno treba uskladiti zlatne ribice i bilje. Ove moje su živahne, rade akrobacije, a dvije čak po dvadesetak cm plivaju naopako (kao leđno). Ja sam problem čupanja riješio tako da sam pijesak pokrio krupnijim kamenićima, dok biljke nisu postale jače...

      Hello! Thanks for watching ! Yes, goldfish make a lot of poop. I have a pretty good filtration, but sometimes there is poop on the sand. Most often in the morning, I just pick it up with a fishnet. During the day when the fish are active there is not so much poop because they take it in their mouths and spit (I know it's disgusting but goldfish do that :)) so all the poop ends up in the filter.

    • @vladimirstojanovic3603
      @vladimirstojanovic3603  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks!! I think sand is a good enrichment for goldfish. Goldfish sifting through the sand all day is something they do constantly. So far I have not had any problems with sand, they take the sand in their mouths and spit it out. They may eat something, but the sand is fine and passes through their digestive system. I would never use gravel in a goldfish tank, the gravel is bigger and can get stuck in their mouths. And if they swallow gravel, that's a problem. Gravel cannot pass through their digestive system. I can't tell you exactly whether to put sand in a tank or not, some people don't like sand in a goldfish tank. There are various opinions about the sand in the goldfish tank. You can try and observe for a few days how the fish behave, you know your fish the best and you will see if sand will be a problem or not.
      In my second goldfish tank, I try to grow algae carpet. Algae are very beneficial for goldfish, so you can try that too.

      Hvala. Zlatne ribice nisu iskljucivo hladnovodne ribe,odlicno opstaju u hladnijoj i toplijoj vodi. Temperatura je sada 23C,leti je oko 26C-27C. Kada je voda toplija ribama je metabolizam ubrzan pa tada vise hranim i cesce menjam vodu. Takodje kada je voda toplija treba obezbediti bolju aeraciju akvarijuma.

    • @vladimirstojanovic3603
      @vladimirstojanovic3603  3 роки тому +2

      It does not have to be a canister filter. Two large HOB filters with plenty of room for biological filtration can do the job for two or three goldfish. Aquariums with a built-in filter at the back also have plenty of room for biological filtration.

      Ohh.. This is not a good idea 😅 I have a lot of goldfish, from smaller to very large and they eat everything. Plants, vegetables, shrimp and even small snails. If you want to keep shrimp (i can only advise you amano) with goldfish you must to create aquascape with a lot of hiding places and plants. But with goldfish is not a simple thing 😂
