quel bonheur de voir ces deux géants de la musique, ils sont les plus grands et gardent une humilité malgré qu'ils soient parvenus au sommet. Rien que de les voir ensemble, me donne une émotion digne d’être rêvé. RIP Claudio Abbado!
Maestro Claudio Abbado has left its mark in Orchestral Music in the World. An Unforgettable Reference. A Brilliant Orchestra Conductor. RIP Maestro Claudio Abbado. BRZ :(
I,m largely ignorant about classical music as whole but i am fascinated Anna Prohaska ever since her 2005 marriage of Figaro performance as Susanna, at the schiller theatre Berlin. she always comes across as deeply sincere with genuine emotions, she is a real star for me through out her career.
Abbado family are descending from the great Arabic prince Al-Mu'tamid ibn Abbad who was the Last ruler of the Seville in Al-Andalus and famous Arabic poet (1040-1095).
UNFORTUNATELY ABBADO WAS CALLED FOR THE GOD CREATOR TO REST IN PEACE - WE HAD A GREAT LOSS. WE ALL SUFFERED WITH HSI DEATH-ON THIS VIDEO HE LOOKED ALREADY ILL AND HSI VOICE WAS VERY WEAK. UNFORTUNATELY. SORROW.
Pollini's répertoire was much greaterthan his discography. Almost all critiques state Pollini's technique, at his best, was as good as anyone who has ever recorded.
This is the most wierd conversation ever. The greatest musicians of our time chat about pure bullshit. I have never heard as bizzare conversation as this one. It is a pure example how not to lead a conversation with prominent musicians. It would be better, if she would stay ar her instrument and stay silent forever.
the interviewer talks like she doesn't know who she is talking with!!!!! why???!? God, Claudio was one of the worlds wonders and she ask cheap questions, I don't know why she is playing Horn In Berlin, I think After Claudio's leaving and retirement as a chief conductor Berlin philharmonic changed the musical directions.I hope Berlin Philharmonic find his way to deep greatness again...
You couldn't have said it better. Most of the interviews in the digital concert hall are a collection of distasteful conversations with awkward silences, creepy smiles and stares, repugnant compliments to each other, and repulsive praising to the composer they're talking about. Nothing scholarly or interesting as many of Bernstein's interviews. And don't get me started on Sarah Willis's fake American smile and her obnoxious questions. How the Berlin Philharmonic chose her to be their speaker is beyond me.
@zevnikov I really want to agree with you, but unfortunately there is one, that tops it all. Martha Argerich - one of the rarest wonders of humanity - being interviewed by someone, who has not the slightest idea of music: ua-cam.com/video/hBX1lWqpWns/v-deo.html
I feel honoured beyond belief, to have watched this.

Ich bin gestorben dem Weltgetümmel,
Und Ruh' in einem stillen Gebiet!
Ich leb' allein in meinem Himmel, in meinem Lieben, in meinem Lied!
6:26 Abbado is up there with Multi, Guilini, Chailly and Pappano as one of the Italian 'greats'. Everything he conducted turned to gold.
Ciao Maestro! ♡
Grazie!
If the Berlin Philharmonic ever were to set up a Claudio Abbado Scholarship for young musicians, I would be most honored to donate.
RIP Maestro Claudio Abbado

Not everything :-) Pollini has a relatively limited repertoire. Anyway, all great artists!
relative to who?
@@chrish12345 relative to Ashkenazy for example. Or Claudio Arrau.

@@adelaskari7952 Sarah Willis was appointed by Abbado. And she's a pretty darn good hornist.
