    This #meditation will help you train your brain and your psyche to unlock #unconscious content that we often repress, ignore, and avoid. I recommend you do it if you are doing work on #healing past wounds or your wounded #innerchild
    It will take several attempts at doing this meditation for you to begin to sync in with your inner world and find the benefits of tapping into the unconscious from time to time.     I needed this. I know I was abused as a kid I just don't know what it was. Your video stirred something in me. As I began digging into my past I felt uneasy , lots of anger and sadness. Then I suddenly remembered my abuser. A kid in elementary school. I let out a scream of horror as all the emotions came flooding back as if it occured yesterday. I need to dig further. There has to be more but scared to go on this journey alone

      it's an honor to help a stranger! Trauma work can be very intense and in some cases even dangerous to our health and functioning. I would suggest you seek out help from a professional to unfold the rest of the memories. If you it's difficult for you to verbalize what happened or you dont want to, there is a style of therapy called ART (accelerated resolution therapy). Look it up! (you can solve some of these memories in 1-2 sessions)

    super weird, this actually worked for me… i got about halfway thru & this one image kept popping up in my mind’s eye as i was visualizing the garden. it was so distracting & jarring, so i stopped & then a few hours later i was just getting ready for bed & boom flashback involving the image. super overwhelming but it was very helpful in bringing some clarity so some stuff from my childhood. definitely don’t push yourself though if nothing is coming to you, it’ll only do you harm if you ruminate like i did. sure i gained clarity, but it was super distressing while i was in it, definitely don’t push yourself to figure things out.
    tldr: this meditation is super helpful! but don’t push yourself if nothing is coming to you yet. our minds are powerful & know how to protect us.

    I’m trying to remember if I was a victim of csa as a child. I have many symptoms of repressed trauma and csa. I was around this man, who has been recently arrested for crimes against his own daughter, he also targeted my sister, and my cousin. I was with him just as much as they were, and I don’t remember any of it. I remember maybe one memory, but i was apparently with him more than that, I didn’t know, but my dad said he’d fallen asleep when we were both with him once, I only have bits of memories from being there that day, the rest of the family went out, my dad and him were hanging out and talking at the dining room table, and also when we were all 3 in their little side yard. I have more memories than this about being at that house, but I don’t remember being there with him that day, and I’m scared he could’ve done something to me. I’m trying to remember, but I feel like I am ‘wanting’ trauma for this. Both of my siblings have experienced these things. One of them had this stuff happen to her 3+ times, I feel like I’m attention seeking, even though I haven’t even told my family that something could have happened.

      Hi. Consider that you may also be a victim of trauma due to the fact your siblings were. When we are so close to someone who lived trauma, we can also experience PTSD and other trauma related symptoms. You didn’t have to be directly exposed, but you saw your siblings suffer. You probably sensed their energy. Heard things. Felt strange and unsafe. Create feelings towards the abuser. All these things are valid and can result in trauma for you as well.

      Thank you for sharing with me. You can do the meditation more than once to see if that helps. Otherwise, look into ART (accelerated resolution therapy)

    I think this worked for me, before I even began remembering my head began pulsing and my body froze - once a certian memory came back I had to stop, though

    I had this one memory that was just there and I couldn’t move in. It’s so strange and I already forget completely what it was about. I tried to keep walking but it’s like I couldn’t move. All I remember while I was seeing this I feeling really really hot. I don’t know why I can’t remember it when it’s all I could see just two minutes ago

      Hmm it’s possible that you weren’t able to bring the content of your thoughts to your consciousness and everything happened at an unconscious level. I’d recommend you give it another try and see if you are able to go a bit further. Maybe work in the environment around you. Make it very relaxing and bring with you an object that’s grounding (like a rock, a necklace with a natural material…)

    I literally cannot see anything when I do this. Only the garden. My memories are so badly repressed

      It could help to try it a few more times. Sometimes our mind is not used to these type of exercises and it gets blocked off as we try to focus and give in.

    I was able to do everything but I had a huge mental block to see the images of old memories on the path way

    I can't do this, every time I try any meditation that isn't a sound bath, I get irritated. This one irritated me within the first five seconds. Idk why.
