The V8’s yeah. But it’s normal, the car has a huge engine and a big chassis, it’s going to be not so good for fuel. Although some X6 50i’s had engine issues, this V8 wasn’t the best in reliability, but the 35i is better and if you tune it and new exhaust, it should sound ok, but it’s just an in-line 6.
Helllll yes. These 50is are junk how ever in 2013 they redesigned and fixed many issues w N63 TU. The TU means Technical Update. If your looking for x 6 w the sexiest body Imo look for 2013 the updated engine will have a black engine cover. Def stay away from the grey n63 engines unless u don’t mind having your car in shop every 3 months….

X6M will never sound like that... It has different Headers which makes the M sound very different.

@aleX nah the 35i is a better choice, and could be maintained at a lower budget, the V8 N63 bmw engine is rubbish, and should be avoid at all times.
