Really enjoyed the beauty of Ireland presented in this video. Clisaire should be doing tourist promotional work for Ireland. Her humour and good taste come across in her videos.
😊
The clip is very beautiful, I love you💖😭
Ireland looks AMAZING! You are a fantastic tour guide and ambassador and a pretty good surfer too!
You are so blessed to live in such a beautiful and fascinating country ! Thank you for sharing it !!!!!!! Have a great week ahead !!! 💚 🍀 🤍 ☘️ 🧡🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🌹
Double ditto on this. Well said. You rock Clare!
Hi Ms Clare. What an awesome collection of adventures, views, and people. Thank you for all that you do for all of us. Sláinte! ~Be Blessed
Great video again. Thanks for sharing.
That cottage was _fucking_ gorgeous! And then there was the hut on the hill. That would be fantastic! I won't bore commenting on each thing, I'll just say thank you so ******* much!
It's adorable!
Thank you so much 🙏🥰
Looks like a very good time, Clare. Thanks for sharing it!
That blacksmith is very cool. 💜💜💜💜💜🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪💜💜💜💜
The blacksmith seemed like such a nice man! Very cool experience
Loughcrew Cairns are an under-rated gem! Was lucky enough to be there on a day in 2015 when the site manager was taking someone around for a special tour, and they were both happy for me and hubby to tag along. Just magic!
These videos are really making me think about how I could follow the faeries in my own life. I love that!
Thank you for taking me along with you on your bucket list adventures.
Such great craic!!!! Those places looked phenomenal and can’t wait to see the videos that came from these great experiences! Slán slán!
The best thing about some of the irish cottages is they're literally made of cement and hay and the insulation is unbelievable, rather a cottage than a council estate flat,
deirfiur fanann tú.
Now THAT'S AN ADVENTURE!!!! I love the places you went to , and it is GREAT that GoCar sponsored this. Memorable!!! And I wish I lived in Ireland to do all of that. Love it! 👍👍👍👍👍💯%
The Droichead an Cheoil is definitely so cool, and that's saying something for an itinerary that is chock full of cool places! I replayed that segment of this video several times in fact! Thank you for sharing!
I loved all these mini-adventures! You have a delightful bucket list. I usually end up driving about 4000km on my trips, but that's over the course of two full weeks :P
Clisare i absolutely love your channel, love to listen to you talk.🙂🙂🙏🙏
Plus you're such an interesting woman and always have awesome adventures.
You live in such a beautiful country, thank you for sharing this amazing experience ❤
Thanks a mill Clare for that lovely feature 🙏🥰 still laughing at you standing under the door! Delighted you went to Loughcrew and that you came back and met the gorgeous Tom too 😁☘️will share the video. Áine & the Welcoming Committee 🌞🐾🐴🫏🐕🐈⬛🐾
Thank you so much Aine, more content coming soon! 🥳

So much fun! I really like the part that you tells us about the captions as if UA-cam can understand what yer sayin.
Omg thank you for letting me know - the subtitles I added aren’t showing. I will fix now!
@@Clisare So much better subtitles! Thank you! Your videos which cover history are fantastic. Cheers.
Oh my godess. this is in TOP 3 best of your vids.. wonderful views . and history
Thank you so much! 😭
@@Clisare have you thought of taking all these Clips and making like Claires take on Ireland like a documentary.. i would watch
Oh man ( or woman ), how lucky are you. I am so envious. Wonderful stuff, beautiful video. WOW ! Blessings,❤.
What an incredible tour of your beautiful island . Loved loved it Clisare.
However, I can only imagine the agony. If you’s had to explain to Alex 😂 how you locked yourself out. With no help even close by. So glad you were ok for that evening.
Can’t wait for your next adventure.
THIS WAS AMAZING!!!!! Truly!! Thanks so much :)
loved the video! especially the surf lesson!🌊🏄🏼♀🇮🇪
Well done Clare! Thanks for sharing
That was amazing! You hit some great spots! Very interesting. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your GoCar traveling bucket list videos with us. This was a lot of activities you did 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love Ireland so much! I’ve been to the dark hedges too! Northern Ireland has lots of cool spots! I can’t wait to go back!!❤❤️❤️🍀☺️
Good video I learned a lot more things about Ireland for the places that you wouldn't visit congratulations on your surfing is well thank you for sharing these videos
This is an awesome video Clisare. Absolutely awesome. Wow…
I'm originally from Co Antrim but live in Canada now and I actually work for the company that put in the surf machine and water slides at Andersonstown! Very cool to see it in action
I so have to come visit Ireland ! That looked fun ! Greetings from Calgary.. Canada
Hey! Me, too.
We plan to visit Ireland soon. This video is so helpful and is making me so excited!!
I really enjoyed traveling with you with the power of UA-cam! : )
Cool Video Clisare! That's a long drive! Looks like a ton of fun.
I'm loving these videos a lot, I've got family in Ireland and hopefully I'll be able to go and visit one day and see some of the cool stuff that Ireland has to offer.
That looked like a great adventure. Thanks for sharing. :)
You make us want to visit, Claire!
These videos are great. Looks like you had a lot of fun!
"Mind your head." Reminds me of Gandalf bumping his head on the ceiling. That scene was a blooper but they kept it in.
Thank you for sharing, Clare. I've always had an appreciation for lighthouses. It was very interesting of the history with D-Day and how it was an effort by many more folks than just the military which seems to get forgotten. Absolutely loved the countryside. Makes me want to come over even more. But if I do, I'll have to find a chauffeur because y'all drive on the wrong side. LOL
By all accounts, the worst part of renting a car over there is the fact that the wheels are going to fall off at some point. On every trip someone said it has happened to them at least once if not twice
…. Wait, whatttt? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@LindaC616 Sounds like Rent-a-Wreck that rents out vehicles dirt cheap.
@firedoc5 no, the vehicles are fine. But for some reason the lug nuts on the tires aren't tightened. I thought people were exaggerating, the woman said "no! The first car we rented had a wheel come off before we were less than 2 mi down the road! They gave us another one and then that one lost a tire too!"
I will also warn you that renting an automatic car over there versus a stick shift automatically jacks up the insurance you are going to pay. It's almost as if they knew, LOL....
So if you can't drive a stick shift, get ready to pay the higher insurance or perhaps work out some tours and get from one area of the country to the other by taking the train or bus tours that will pick you up in one city and leave you in another
Clare, watched you on Try for years, thrilled to see your channel-
THIS video, hands down, full stop - brilliant- will be looking for your patreon shortly- very enjoyable
Thank you so much! 🥰🥹🙌🏻
I visit Ireland regularly and always drive the country. I stay in hostels, never prebook as I never know where I’m going to land for the night. One of my favs is a family in Dingle who has a daughter I’ve watched from a baby to a teen (they live on the other half of the home/hostel). Letterfrack is another stop of mine even though it has a dark history & sad cemetery in the Connemara forest. BTW Traveled as a US single women in my 50’s.
Very nice. Having schooled in metallurgy, I always like to see a good smithing!
At the beginning, I got so excited when I thought you were going to have tea with Enya in her castle. You had a lovely adventure. I wish I was there with you, even without any sign of Enya. Great work!
😅
Ainne
Áine actually but close 😉 They pronounce it like Enya up the North though
What a treat! I do wish we could get direct flights from Newfoundland to Ireland. As it stands, we have to fly three hours west to Toronto, only to fly back over Newfoundland to go anywhere in Europe. Waste of time and a lot of money, not to mention incredibly wasteful of jet fuel, adding to greenhouse gases. As the most Irish place outside of Ireland, and the closest point in North America to Ireland (with the exception of Greenland), would make so much sense for tourism between our two islands! 😢😢
Thanks, Clisare for sharing all this with us! I did blacksmithing work when I was in my twenties, so I particularly appreciated you including that segment! All the places that you visited looked incredible! I love the beauty of the old stone houses in Ireland, so it was nice to see the little community of them that are still standing. It looks like you had a blast, even if you had to climb through a window like a ninja at one point! lol
5:14 luckily you were able to climb (and more importantly, fit thru) that window.... it doesn't look large enough for me to fit thru
That was soooooo coooool.
This was super cool! Visiting a GOT filming site and that blacksmith tutorial were my favorites. I mean, the surfing is cool but I'd never be able to do that.
You did blacksmithing with Tom King?! That's so cool! Him and Anthony Murphy do an event called Myth & Metal ❤ If you ever get to, jump at the chance to do one of Anthony's tours he is amazing!
You're amazing Clare❤️ I adore you so much.
🤗 Stopppp🥹 thank you 💖💖
Love these insights, Thank you for what you do. E
OMG Thank you so much!! 😭😭 That is so appreciated 🙌🏻
I loved loved loved this video. I want to come stay in that thatched roof cottage! My wife wants to know where she can get that tie dye tree tee shirt! It is cute. Let me know if you can. :) keep up the great content!!!!
I feel ... envy. Thank you.
Well now... Aren't we an adventurous lass 😂... Love the videos keep it up... CHEERS
Clare, that was awesome! So many cool places. Thanks so much for sharing, not to mention taking one for the team. I can't think of many things worse than a cold shower!!! 😆 My wife and I love the videos and can't wait to get back to Ireland one day. Keep up the great work! 🙂
Love this! Def have to add that thatched cottage to my Air BnB as well as some of these activities. Wonder if you'll ever do the Brigid's Way 9-day pilgrimage a go ;)
Looks like you had a blast -- thanks for taking us along for the ride! Cool that Go Car includes gas (petrol) in the cost of the rental.
"Key that it's a circle K."
"Strange things are afoot at the Circle K." - Bill and Ted
That plate of seafood looked amazing
Omg it was !!
Look at you, surfing like Gidget!
Love the waves in the hair btw
Thank you!! 🥹
@@Clisare yw!
Dang I wish I could have been traveling with you. It looks like you had a lot of fun. I hope you and Alex are both well.
!ALGORITHM!
Great trip! I personally like the more rural areas you visit. If I wanted to see a shit ton of buildings and people, I would just walk outside. Personal observations of you. You are probably in the top 2% in athleticism, 2% in one on one handling people interactions, 2% charisma (very likeable) and definitely Sigma traits to make traveling and being by yourself enjoyable. This all adds up to a high quality woman. I also wonder, since N Ireland is a different country, are there likes versus dislikes about it, maybe customs or just the folks in general. As example, I live in DFW and there are plenty of states I like and like the inhabitants and plenty of others that could fall off the map as far as I'm concerned. Anyway keep up the good fight.
Sometimes I can find the major road junctions a bit overwhelming but that’s the only real peeve I’d have. Northern Ireland is gorgeous 💖
I am officially... jealous 😁 I want to do the same trip! Even though there's a big chance I'm not getting any further than the first three spots. 😂🤣
Thank you Clare!
Go to Carrick-a-Rede when North again.
Clare emotionally eating a scone home alone is so me.
1:55 it's always the places that's out of the way that has the bestfood and drink, isn't it?
Seems pretty spacious
This was cool. Getting to see some of Ireland through your road trip vlog. Anyways does Alex have a regular job? Because I noticed that you do most of these trips by yourself.
He does!
@@Clisare Oh ok, I was just curious.
How many times is that around the whole island? Great video its pretty there. Thank you.👍♥️
Checked out from your list and added to mine! I'm really curious about your experience at the blacksmith' shop, it looks so fun and exhausting. Anyway, not sure if someone already told you, but there's a frame with you (among others who were commenting on live stream) in the new Netflix documentary "Depp vs Heard".
Yeah I’ve seen it! Hopefully that’s the long and short of it 😂
Adventures with Claire, love it , hang 10 , how did you get in that little window, now you can add tour guide to your resume, rome new york
I am very good at getting in small places, it was kind of my party trick when I was in my 20s 😂
Would it be possible for you to interview some of the cattle farmers who have to cull their herds due to the new EU standards? I love my lrish cheese!
👍 🙂
I'm curious to know what you made with the blacksmith. I do hope you didn't have any sparks or hot metal flakes land on your legs wearing them shorts little lady, my first thought was oh shit give the girl a proper smithy long leather apron. Leave it to you to turn it into a Surfing Safari LOL. From this and the videos you've posted previously seems you had a grand adventure I enjoyed your sharing them. Did get a chuckle out of the small doorways where you had to mind your head. As always best to all, Scritches or Miss Millie.
I made a pendant ☺️ didn’t keep it though as they’re expensive to buy so he kept it as one of his samples
Lovely, I love it when you follow the fairy and just make me want to go back to Éire and follow them too... Is GoCar available to foreigners? Slán slán
I believe so, if you’re in Ireland and can upload a valid driver’s license in the app you’re good to go as far as I know!
@@Clisare Go raibh míle maith agat Clare.
I drove 2300 miles across 2 states….. out of 50………Ireland🎉
Clisare, I'Ve never been to Ireland and would love to visit with my family at some point, so I would love to plan it properly. What would you recomment to a complete Ireland newbie?
I'm super interested in Celtic culture (Irish music and folklore), so any places connected to Irish music or any famous pubs with good live gigs or any tips about irish folk music festivals would be great!
Irish language fascinates me! What Gaeltacht does one absolutely has to visit? Are there any Irish language courses for tourists?
I'm interested in the history of Irish resistance Irish rebellions/IRA so any tips on what museums/places to visit in connection with that part of Irish history would be great.
...and most of all I love good local food when I'm travelling. What are your favourite traditional Irish places to eat in Ireland?
But actually any tips I'd be very greatful for.
Erin go bragh, much love from Ukraine.
Near Dublin is New Grange, if you're into Cwltic culture, that and Hill of Tara are nice
The “Irish Bucket List” playlist on my channel has 70+ things to do but if you want a personalised itinerary tailored to your interests I offer that service on my website clisare.com 😊
@@Clisare Go raibh míle maith agat!!
The Circle K? Did you encounter Bill and Ted?
After all that travelling I need a good rest! Looking forward to your more detailed video journalism after this preview of coming attractions. The Irish Tourism Board really ought to take notice of your efforts. BTW, everytime I toast an English muffin, two things occur to me: 1) Is there such a thing as an Irish muffin? and 2) Why can't the English cut their muffins with more precision? Why is one half thin and the other thick? Does that make any sense at all? Do they need glasses? Is it beyond them? I'll bet the French would find a way to do it better. Heck, we can cut bagels better than the English can cut their muffins! What's the damn problem here? Sorry. I just get worked up. Much love to Millie...
Thanks! I’m delighted Mayo North were working with me and hopefully Discover Ireland is next! ☺️ Can’t answer your muffin Q unfortunately 😂
Yeah but did you take a bend of the elbow at Spillane in Fahamore in county Kerry? and while you are there say hi to the huessy family
I was the total opposite end of the country so no 😂
I didn’t know you were a surfer chick 👍 you’d fit right in here in San Diego California
and I bet the water would be warmer! 😂
That's, what, 1000 miles? Impressive 👍🏻 even by American standards. 😆 1242.742 miles, to be exact 🎊🎉That's a haul!
1000 klicks is 600 miles,2000k=1200 miles she drove all over Ireland which isn't really very big..
2000 kilometers = 1242.742 miles for all my other American girlies.
How cool/uncool in the name finnián in Ireland
I’ve never heard of it. I’ve heard of Finian or Fionnán but not Finnián. Finian wouldn’t be massively popular, I don’t think, but I’ve met one or two Fionnáns.
Maith thú Clisare🥰
