Even as a guy who loves dodge and owns a demon, and who has a gf who is planning on buying a hellcat redeye, I got to say this is impressive for ford without mods. This will definitely still be modded but I mean ford fans u got to agree, based on the statistics of each car so far, 0-60 for the gt 500 is in mid 3’s while the demon is 2.3 seconds and it has 840 hp. Now this is definitely a fast car but u gotta agree with the facts that “production venom doesn’t kill production demons”. Of course mods can always change how well any vehicle performs especially mustangs

I did not think the Demon would be worth a crap in corners and still not sure it would be, but saw the Red Eye at Nuremberg and it looked a lot be better than though it would. It was a good bit ahead of the Red Eye but because of a wreck and caution that ended. All I can say is if you can afford any of them it must be a great time. I never thought we would see this again and we may never see it again when this ends. COPO Camaro and new Vette if they can get the bugs out all will be awesome. No way anyone can use that much power except on a track and they will kill people who do not have a clue what they are doing. Hell even Nascar is only 750 and they cut that back at Daytona and Dega or they may get airborne. Insane numbers hope it lasts awhile.

I was told they made the front splitter removable so you could drive it around town without worrying about hitting it not for any speed reason on the one shown with carbon fiber track package. I guess we will see when more is known. I know about the rear seat delete but have yet to see any shown with a rear seat. Anyway is the rear seat delete an option or standard

I still don't buy the 4225 lb. weight spec. You could put that new 200lb transmission and 100 lbs. of supercharger parts in the trunk of a GT350 without removing any parts and it would still weigh less than 4225. That's not even accounting for the weight reduction items like the carbon fiber driveshaft.

Maybe 80 lbs more for the new trans..... maybe another 100 for the Eaton blower/intercooler/etc, and another 50 for miscellaneous and mystery aero stuff. That still comes out more than 200 short of the 4225 estimate from the leaked spec sheet. What am I missing?

back to what you were talking about the block. the gt 350 runs a flat plane crank which will goive you more of a "clean" powere if you can say it that way. changes tradition v8 firing order. also allows it tu rev up to about 9k safely. so it is a modified block.

Data was not released until MotorTrend...and that was the R version...very little lap times on GT350...because it's TOO heavy. Now they should call it a hype car not a performance car
The number 2 (poop) with the brakes, think about what most journalist complained about on the 13-14 gt500, only got two laps of fun before having to take a break 4 the brakes
If you are going to put it on a track it should have a roll cage no matter who makes it. Ford, Chevy, Dodge or Nissan. GTR should not be overlooked either

Something people don't know: There is no manual option because the DCT is a manual when you want, and an automatic when you want. It's shift speed is also faster than any human.
Its also heavy as shit, has more gears to shift and is torque limited to 664 so its junk. When people start grenading clutches and synchros they will be back to complain especially with a whipple upgrade!
