A Jeskai control deck without any card in hand is unviable... Ancestral Vision or Opt are clearly lacking... "One for one" strategy for a control deck is just leading you to death.... Card advantage is the key... No matter the way you win... (Snapcaster, Torrential Gearhulk, Celestial Colonnade...). A major mistake for a control player...But the main goal is "control".. Able to react to everything opponent does.... Not in that case....
Moreover, Geist of Saint Traft if is completly useless.... Not evasive... Flash creatures are Ok or land creatures but not this... Control deck plays like burn...only during opponent turn... Boring duel...
What Ross' "Spell Snare" is doing in this matchup ?? Main spells of Eldrazi deck mana cost are between 4-5... Another mistake... Ceremenious Rejection is so better....(against Tron, Affinity, Eldrazi,etc...)
They didn't sideboard into game 2 so thats why spell snare was there, plus geist of saint traft is not useless, also 1 for 1 is a winning strategy for that deck most of the time. you just have no idea what youre talking about mate
you do realize that this jeskai list is top 3 deck right now in modern right ??? also spell snare hits thalia , leonin , tidehollow , dark confident... Its not the best card for sure but reasonable ! the WB eldrazi n taxe list also dont play smashers (only 4 TKS as 4 drops)! please dont post comments like those if you dont know the meta
TKS,Wasteland Strangler,Aether Vial,... not only 4 colorless spells as you say... AV is the major threat to deal with and only Ceremonious can do the job against... because your counterspells become useless when AV hits the board...IMHO Ceremonious is the key to this matchup...
