Drove 6 hours to and 6 from Cincinnati and I was like "Okay let's give it a shot." And I've become obsessed with it, I need to buy the graphic novel and read along but I had no visual guide so the way it formed in my imagination was far different than the show and graphic novel and I loved how they were able to paint it for you using voice acting and soundscapes.
Just finished listening to act 3 and now I don't know what to listen to! It's so good! James' voice is just so sexy, honestly he should do more audiobooks with that voice 🥰 I hope there will be an act 4! 🙏
I really need to relisten to this. All the voices are just perfect, especially kat dennings, taron edgerton, James mcavoy, Michael sheen, and the list goes on. And Niel gaimann as the narrator, omfg its just fabulous.
James McAvoys blue eyes are so magnetic. You could just swim in them. Kat Dennings as Death is perfect. All the cast are well cast. If only they used this cast for a film or the Netflix series.
Michael Sheen’s voice was extraordinarily as Lucifer, very reminiscent of Bowie’s great voice. That was one of the things I felt was lacking in the live action.
I wad already in love with Sandman, the audiobook made me fall again in such a difference way. I cant way to fall all over again with the Netflix show.

i wanted mcavoy to play dream on Netflix but oh well..... I hope they at least use the music used on audible .. to me thats the sandman theme for ever!
Listening to this whilst wandering through the woods of the belgian Ardennes has been one of the best times of my life. Truely nothing ive consumed has felt so grand and special. Its trancindental. It made me more myself in a way, like i had to find this and listen to it. Kevin Smith said in an interview that Neil's imagination is so strong that it can fuel your own imagination and I fully support that statement.

@@andresgarza8511 I think they did well in purposefully choosing a trans person because they can relate to Desire's character. When casting it's best to choose people who can soulfully connect with a character and they did just that

That is how it is pronounced in England. The American pronunciation is Constanteen while the English is Constantyne. It is a regional thing. Given most movie and tv show versions of Constantine are American productions it had the Constanteen pronunciation. This is Neil Gaiman’s baby so it of course going to use the U.K. version.

Man, James NAILS Dream, like holy shit I binged the entire audiobook in the space of three days.
I finished listening to the audiobook in a day. Act 2 in a day and a half.
I love Neil Gaiman! And the audiobook was EPIC! MY FAVORITE AUDIOBOOK EVER!
