I have to give credit to the guy in the 2nd chase at 12:09 . He bails out of a moving truck, gets hit by a police car, almost run over by a 2nd police car, swarmed by officers and almost bitten by a K-9 unit...but somehow manages to appear so composed and polite after he's cuffed and even gives credit to the officers fo doing their job, lol
He endangered countless lives, including those officers'. Sucking up and pretending to respect the police afterwards is not an act of redemption. Owning up to his crimes and not dragging half the department and random innocent civilians into his reckless attempt at evading the law would've been a good start. They really need to make the punishment for starting high-speed chases much more severe.

Right, even if it collides with other vehicles causing injury or death. This one stayed on its wheels but often they crash and smash whatever happens to be in their path. Cops and their commanders tend to be thoughtful of other vehicles and the people inside when choosing a good time to PIT.
Considering how many people are put at risk during these chases I never blame the officers for screaming and shouting to get the person out of the car. What I find hilarious is so many times the suspect or suspects will sound and act puzzled at why the officers are so angry.

First chase: Definitely a time for an 18-wheeler to help. I once was a partner on an 18-wheeler. You'd be surprised how much they assist officers during an impossible vehicle chase like this.
A lot of them will not anymore for a couple of reasons. First, they could get held liable for any damaged caused to someone not involved in the chase. Which could then get them fired from their job and blacklisted by insurance companies. It really is best to let leo deal with them unless the situation is truly dire and life threatening.
