it was as if he had control over his XYZ coordinates along with yaw, roll, and pitch every second of this video. the engine sound covering the tire noise also helped make it seem quiet on video
If hes done a quaife diff upgrade surely he's done the oil pump nut, sprocket and housing upgrade aswell as the rear subframe reinforcement plates surely..
Do you think this is the best differential for a daily driven drift build 330i? I don't want to weld the diff since I'm still going to drive it a few times a week on the street but want to do some very beginner level drifting at the track occasionally. It seems like this is the best option for that but would love to hear others thoughts!
sc2 - what did you settle for? I find myself in exactly your situation. I don't want to weld my daily driver - but I want to do some amateur drift. Thanks!
What do you mean? If you were being literal, it's installed in the differential housing in the rear axle. It's a Quaife automatic torque biasing solution. I just bought one tonight for my M235 :)
@@christopherjamme8554 ahh - one of my guys (employees) is French, so we go through this all the time :) haha. I'm not the poster of this video, but I know what he bought, which is the Quaife ATB (automatic torque biasing) differential. It's a really cool design, as there is no wear and no maintenance - it is a lifetime installation, unlike solutions like the M Performance differential, which has a break-in period, loses effectiveness over time as the clutch plates wear, and eventually will need to be serviced and clutch replaced. There are a couple really good videos from Quaife that show exactly how it works. There are helical gears that engage as soon as a slip initiates - they physically transfer torque to the other wheel. After a lot of research, the consensus that I have gathered from many others is that this is the best solution for a road car in just about every scenario. I purchased one several hours ago, and can't wait to install!
that was the most majestic burnout ever
Lol yup. That LSD is a very good friend ;)

The last half of this video was so fucking glorious and beautiful

Elegant burnout.....Bmw power.😎💪
Question, did you fit the helical quaife ATB or their plate diff?

3.38 from a 330da. A bit short for highway driving but iDEAL for burnout upshifts
@@rodybongaarts 330da diff is plug and play? very nice burn out bro!!
330 diesel automatic?
Think the 330d has a different subframe
3.38 is great with a 6 speed
Subframe mounts al op gelast ?
Ja, is al aangepakt, mag ook wel als je zulke dingen met een E46 gaat doen.
Hoeveel km gelopen?
270.000km
