My daughter test drove both the 2020 Jetta and 2020 Civic. I rode along in both test drives and the Jetta had less road noise and seemed like a more solid sounding car in that when you closed the doors and trunk, you actually feel a better seal
I bought the base model and it's a great car I love it.. smooth quiet ride plenty of safety features and a great selling point for me was the standard alloy wheels plus the gas mileage is great
Do you feel the road when you drive on certain roads? I just picked up the new sel Preimum and def feel it when driving compared to my 2017 Passat. Car handles great and everything else i love. Maybe its the ecopia tires on the car? Let me know your oponion. Thx
got ya. Did you notice anything with your built in navigation? Mine has a issue where all of a sudden the arrow will start to go the wrong way for some reason, and then all on its own after a while it will fix itself, any idea what that could be?
Looks so handsome. Unfortunately here in the UK and most of Europe, you can no longer buy a Jetta as people only want hatchbacks. (The complete opposite to the USA!)
Hii sir I am confused between honda civic , VW jetta , and kis forte and my budget is under 25000 $ Can u help me plz in choosing between these cars or anyone who is reading my comment Thanku
Wait dude! Do you live around the Chicago land area?? Edit: Okay, I see where you were driving by, Lagrange road in countryside ! I was able to tell when you said patchy road lmao.
Edgar Grimaldo let’s take it for a test drive. Give me a call 708-616-1422 and we’ll set up an appointment for you to come by and drive. The Cross Sport is here now too, Drivers Only will drop that video soon. Remember to ask for Josh!
@@Derekforeal Haha I was gonna get an Asian car until the wife called and said someone slammed head on into her Passat at 35mph and she chipped a nail. The other car was totaled , hers was movable but they did total it. Hopefully that's not what I deserved by thinking about getting an Asian car.
I drive junk , but the wife's last 3 vws since 2001 never left her stuck on the roadside and never even had many of the common issues you read about in forums.
hi. i've bin a jetta driver for all my 20's. i just want to say, it is by far the most piece of crap vehicle ever created. i am so gutted and hollowed out from the lackluster, deadening, numb, excruciatingly pathetic design attempts to be ... SOMETHING. This car is the result of multiple different teams working in isolation, driven purely by numbers and statistics and they've created a collage of what they hoped would just. SELL. there's no soul, no hope, no nothing aside from brutal raw practicality. the engine is puny and desperate, i've driven a 2003 hyundai with a high revv, fun little engine that zip-zipped you around town! and the roof is inches away from my forehead, i don't know how i'm supposed to sit in this car, it angles you towards the street so even on a gorgoues sunny day you get an full breathtaking view of the concrete asphlat filling your vision. the seat is absolutely backbreaking, they designed this dip in the seat to try and be fancy but i twist my hips to be able to leverage myself and after 100k miles im in constant, constant pain. I drove a 2007 bmw X3 and it was gorgoues, secure, strong and built like a tank- this jetta is a glorified lawnmower and all the technology won't heal it's miserable existence. i'd ride in a 1998 camry before i ride this garbage again,

Do you mean if it's a bit bumpier? Yea a tad but wasnt bad at all.
got ya. Did you notice anything with your built in navigation? Mine has a issue where all of a sudden the arrow will start to go the wrong way for some reason, and then all on its own after a while it will fix itself, any idea what that could be?
Gotta admit, the dash is really nice here
That mk1 was gorgeous!
Bought the Jetta S . Very nice car
JP W The Jetta is more enjoyable and just as reliable if you stay on top of the maintenance.
I disagree,vw is a very good car
I'm happy with my jetta.its a good bargain

What variant it is is it a sel or sel premium
Jetta is the best
It's mo betta
The best of the worst.

It’s..............Okay.
I got almost 600 miles on a tank on a recent trip
Wait dude! Do you live around the Chicago land area??

Yes in Countryside!

Joshua Dreymann , thanks for the offer. I am looking for a new vehicle. I’ll contact you soon!
does it have good pick up when merging on to the highway ?
Yes ...plenty of power
I just traded in my SRT392 for this car and I was shocked that it has decent power when you step on it
What’s the difference between the Jetta & the Passat ?
Passat is bigger, midsize sedan. Jetta is a compact sedan.
Launch date in india
The VW Jetta has gone back to a timing belt. Definitely a minus
Practical? Yes.
Reliable? Hmm...
I have 8 year warranty on my new 2020 vw jetta
😯
If it didn't look like a ford fusion I'd trade my edition30 in for a 35.
Leg room also knee room is comprimised with that stupidly big center console. Looks like passenger leg room is better!
Will be an endless money pit after 100k miles.
Ok Scotty 😂

I really wish European cars were more reliable. They look great, but have to many problems.
my mkv jetta from 2009 hasn't had tooo many big problems. now has approx 180k miles.
They get problems if you don’t do the service as mandated. If you go for the manual transmission less can break.
I drive junk , but the wife's last 3 vws since 2001 never left her stuck on the roadside and never even had many of the common issues you read about in forums.
Got a 2008 Jetta, 190K miles, been really reliable to me and fun to drive.
European cars in the US are lower quality than in europe
Please tell me
