- Taking on the best travel tripod is no easy task. This is a direct competitor to the aluminum travel tripod made by Peak Designs for about half the price and includes at least one significant improvement.

Yes, I want to see a continuous video about this K&F tripod and also about your Pickdesign's!
Thank you.
Many thanks for your video. Very keen to learn more about this tripod, but can't find any other reviews. Anyone seen any others?
Would love to see a review of this after a while of use.
Thanks for the info can't wait for the review!
It's sad to see a ripoff of the leg design but if someone wants the carbon fiber version it is only available with PD (k&f uses round legs for their carbon version to save costs I guess). But the omission of the built in ball head seems a good choice, it has too many compromises with the pd imo.
Are the leg lock levers plastic or aluminium?
How tall is it without ballhead folded together?
Thanks in advance!
i would love a peak design on a budget video thb :D
Hey brother, thanks for your review !
Is the tripod stable enough for you?
Cheers !
Yes, It certainly is stable enough for me. If I'm taking a longer exposure I'll use the shutter delay or will release the shutter from my phone. I've taken phots and very windy conditions and was impressed how stable the tripod was.
Does it have a separate pan head you can buy for it?
Thanks for sharing this. On their page they say you can get a monopod from this somehow, but, because the legs aren't round, I'm a bit sceptical. Can you confirm that piece of information? And, if so, any chance you could do a quick video on that, please?
I can't see any way to remove a leg without an allen-key. That said, if you simply dropped one leg, it is quite close to the base so I assume it would work ok but calling it a monopod is a huge stretch. This isn't like some other's I have seen where you can unscrew a leg and screw it into the direct center of the head.
@@Littlebluefarmin Gotcha, many thanks!!
yes please, Im interested if the k&f ball head is still coming loose, and if it fits in my everyday back pack from PD
I'm using the JOBY pro ball head on mine and it works well with one exception. The head hits the base just before I can get it to a full 180 deg. I've solved the issue by dropping one leg slightly but... Just so you know. As for your pack, I believe this tripod is essentially identical to the peak design one so it should fit.
With Peak Design you CAN buy the plate and put any head dude 🤔
My M1 tripod it's faulti .The locker part plastic from inside it's cracked.
Not available in US?
With respect no it's not better, I think it's a good alternative though if you're on a budget tho
sad that theres no after X months of use video out there about this . i am currently looks this like some cheap shaky stuff . doesnt looks that stable
How long did it take for the express delivery? How long would it take for the free delivery?
found the info on their website
Free Delivery 10-22 days $0
Express Delivery 3-10 days Calculated by weight
@@MrEugenrs For me, it took them a good couple of weeks to get the product in the mail. From there it took about a week from China to Canada. Shipping was through DHL and the import fee was not included in the price on the K&F website but was paid directly to DHL. I hope that helps.
@@Littlebluefarmin Thank you very much for the reply ! More power to your channel !
Went to a camera shop immediately after watching this. I'm disappointed with the plastic locking clips. it is not designed to last and the weight is heavy. almost 2kg. not travel-friendly. bought the Ulanzi and Coman f38 carbon fiber tripod instead. It's twice the price but it's worth it.
Would love to purchase the carbon fiber version.
Yes, that would be cool.
Well a complete stealing of IP from PD… of course it’s less expensive if you are stealing the work from others…
its 4lbs so not really in the travel friendly weight.. but looks cool
This is true, Peak Designs makes a carbon version but it is very expensive and still not that light. I'm not a very tall person but am in wilderness search and rescue. For my pack, I appreciate the compact design if this well built tripod more than I penalize the added weight.
@@Littlebluefarmin looks nice. and yes peak design is majorly over priced however for my channel i kinda have to hike to places and 4 lbs doesnt serve much better of a weight savings then my current. but yah would be amazing if they came out with a under 3lb carbon version
looks similar to peak design
Link doesn't seem to work.
Thanks, I've updated the link to a new location for the same product: www.kentfaith.ca/KF09.104_compact-travel-tripod-aluminium-alloy-camera-tripod-15kg-33.07lbs-load-70%22-177cm-max-height-portable-flexible-for-travel-and-work-ball-head-not-included
@@Littlebluefarmin Thanks. Is only available in Canada? I don't see it on the US site.
@@jaybillups2063 I'm not sure. It was up on the US site but may have been pulled down. My original link was to the US listing.
Is it available in Hong Kong. I can't find it in Taobao as of now.
@@jaybillups2063 i buyed in hungary
Hmm. I’ll pass.
Typical. Chinese knockoff. Im not supporting.
you do know Peak Design tripods are made in China right?
Sad to see this video promoting a knock off product of a great design company. “Just like peak design”? You are joking right? Look at that wobble centre pole. If you ever watch the peak design video for the travel tripod or ever used one yourself. You will understand how much design details goes into that tripod. Stop supporting knock offs.
You're just as guilty by watching his video. You watched close enough to actually quote what he said. You should stop supporting knock offs by not watching these videos.
SO you actually showing the product at minute 3-4 ? ok...
