Changes to the platform Awnings are for the new platforms only (which I think are just 2 ). The older platforms will still have the old, rusty awnings on them. God knows when they will be gone, if ever.

Since we have platform.screen doors on sydney metro might as well put platform screen doors on sydney trains platforms

None of the heritage section is affected. They are even keeping the crappy, tin awnings on the older platforms for now.
