Alarico always just keeps surprising me. His sound is something i resonated strongly with, and then to find out his production process is very similiar to mine is crazy. full respect to this italian pizzamaker
Its funny cause people are surprised when someone says they did it all in the daw ( like ableton ) stock plug in/efx as if that gives you less options lol. Plenty of power to do 99 percent of whatever you want to do. It’s honestly more impressive when someone creates full tracks on one or two groove boxes and stick with it. Great insight and video, this guy is awesome !
If you know what you're doing and confident in what you're doing, then comes the magic. This guy demonstrates creativity doesn't come from the bank. Respect!
Exactly on point, Is the ear not the gear. And there are no rules in techno. Even being a compulsive gear accumulator I totally support his point about tools.
Really refreshing to see someone who's only using a minimum amount of tools that he needs to achieve what he wants, and is not obsessed with gear, and focused on the music it self. And it wasn't any less interesting to watch
It would be interesting to know how many really hear a difference or which interface they rate better in a Blind Test in terms of sound for dance music in general.
@@ElectronicBeatsTV i never got the point investing 4000€ in an audio interface or converters like Lynx aurora , prism sound etc... ! so many classics were made with cheap motus 828 interfaces...
@@ElectronicBeatsTV i talk about that with some good producers ..it's like outboard these days.. those 2% difference doesn't justify the investment of money anymore and nobody will notice ! but it's always fun to tweak real knobs for sure :)
he is 100% right. when people were able to produce wicked tunes on amigas then there is no excuse for you that you dont have the right equipment to do the same.

I completely disagree.. Its important the choice of sound that you use.. AND the processing of it😃 Imagine if Moby had not reversed the string sample on Porcelain 😉 Still this is a great Ad for Abelton..

Amazing how he can achieve such incredible sound design with so little gear. Shows how talented and dedicated he is. Bravo
I love seeing producers that can create so much with only stock DAW gear; its really inspiring for a new producer
J'adore son morceau AF97 très original !!! Merci Alarico
the future of techno music is in good hands
Ala always showing why he’s the best humble and genuine person
Decent laptop, daw midi controller, HS8s and sound interface and you are abbey road with sound quality and possibilities today. Nice Vid!
one of the best right now

brilliant producer! v unique tracks
From Bolgia's second room to Berghain and Skrillex playing your songs. What a journey you are doing, friend!
what song did Skrillex play ??
@@pkliskiki1800 Alarico - Sino
He was looping it with one of his songs when he played in Berghain last October!
Love this guy's style, never heard of him before. Coming from a guitar/band background, this channel is always inspirational now I'm a synth dweeb 🤓
he is sooooo talented. The future of the techno scene 🔥

Big respect Alarico, very nice guy and a decent approach
Reminds me of the Redbull Academy interview with Moodymann. "It ain't what you got, it's what you do with what you have". Good going for Alarico
Great guy. Amazing artist
Alarico easily top 5 atm producing and djs
Top 50 yes, definitely not top 5
@@ThomasJeffersonnn narciss prob in your top 5 judging by this comment

What a beautiful interview. Such a real guy. Anyone know the track ID at 5:20?
Track ID 7:42 ?
Thanks for the awesome video, talent through and through
mixing before arranging is interesting
imma try that out😁
I get jammed up and lose the flow of if I do that
I’ll spend hours crafting a snare and lose the plot
Would like to see more "in the box" producers pls
There are many, just check the Playlist: Electronic Beats TV: Artist Tech Talk

Most Producers: You need the best audio interface to be able to produce good music.
Alarico: I use Scarlet 2i2.

I get it, f I would make 5k or more per gig I would definitely look for a state of the art one.
it's good if you don’t use any hardware gear hahah

Big Steve knows what he's talking about!
This bro! 💕
🙌
He works like I do: laptop, headphones, not even with a mouse connected 😂❤
he is 100% right. when people were able to produce wicked tunes on amigas then there is no excuse for you that you dont have the right equipment to do the same.
At the "Approach" chapter, that tarck available somewhere?
amazing
Best!
Alarico is humble . You need just laptop and good headphones to make music :)
Whats the adress of the Stem operator?
I though Char and Aleric were the same producer. So, which one of them copied the other ones sound? They both have the exact same production style 😉
You should watch Chlär‘s Tech Talk. Can’t see many similarities.

Yo wtf… Is it just me, or do these videos have haptic feedback on your phone? That’s crazy haha
i m not against sampling royalty free stuff but isolating parts from tracks and using them without permission should be a no go...
Why?
There would be no underground scene without illegal sampling.
@@jocee2257 because it's using someone's else hard work for your own benefit without their permission

What do you think DJs do in person ?
Fancy gear isn't everything - but how about a mouse? 🦄
Some people are way faster with the trackpad
