Bahnhof Luzern - A City and its Trains

Luzern or Lucerne is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Nestled between the serene Lake Luzern or Lucerne and the major mountain peaks of Mount Rigi and Mount Pilatus, Luzern is a wonderful mix of heritage with an Old Town and modern city in Central Switzerland or Suisse.
Central to Luzern is Bahnhof Luzern, the railway terminal station that maintains train operations 24 hours a day with in excess of 450 train services. Over 100,000 people utilise the Bahnhof Luzern each work day and it hosts four rail operators. SBB, the national operator, along with BLS, Voralpen Express and Zentalbahn provide services on standard gauge and metre gauge tracks within the 14 platforms of Bahnhof Luzern.
This production presents views throughout the day into the evening capturing many aspects of train operations including freight services that operate into the freight terminal areas. Aspects of the city including elements of the Old Town and lake side areas are also included in this production.
