I’m Australian so Lawrence Bros all the way. I can appreciate what Deegan has done this season and just love all the racing thus far. It’s a shame Deegan fans can’t give credit where it’s due when someone straight up beats him. I’m sure some do but none of them comment here 😂
I’m a Deegan fan and he’s been a blast to watch in his rookie season. But there’s no question Hunter has much much more experience and speed I think the age difference is what six years? Seven years?
Man all these dudes are seriously, ridiculously good. This has been so much fun to watch. And I’m betting et3 is coming back and u know sexton is going to turn it back on, he’s for real. The next while is going to be good
I have never said anything bad toward to Lawrence brothers. I think theywill go down in history as the best brother racing combination this world has ever seen. I actually think they are to good to be honest. Jet going into a series as a rookie and is still undefeated is by all accounts amazing. Yes, Hunter straight-up beat Deegan. Deegan also has straight-up beat Hunter so let's give credit all around. I do believe Haiden won a moto this year and an overall win. Sorry, but that is straight-up beating Hunter too. Now Hunter is way more experienced and is use to carrying a red plate and lets be honest he deserves it. Deegan to come in and do what he did in Supercross and now Motocross is not easy to accomplish. We for sure have some really good racing coming in the future. Imagine all these guys in the 250 class all on 450s. Thats going to be some great racing. Maybe some of the best we have ever seen. Lets hope so!!!

Deegan has been exposed in back to back races, are his fans ready to admit he's not as good as they thought? All I heard all week was how he's the real deal and Hunter better be worried. Well Deegan has a lot more than just Hunter to worry about after those guys blew by him and cut the points gap down even further. Are you fans ready to accept he's going to finish 5th in points this season and he only was in the points chase because of other riders struggling?
@Boostedboats He's definitely not living up to the hype his fans created. He's a fine rider, but he's not some special talent. Maybe he'll improve maybe he won't. But all I heard from his fans was that he would be an instant contender and everyone should be worried. That hasn't happened.
@googsy5773 It is a solid rookie season. He's just not as good as his fans keep claiming he is. If he didn't have the massive hype train behind him, it would be a great performance. But after everyone saying how he's going to beat everyone and he's the next all-time great, it's less than what was expected. He's probably falling to 5th in points in a couple rounds unless he finds a bunch more speed out of nowhere.
I have some news for you which you seem to be unaware of: Anti-fans are just as bad as fans, bud. The kid's 17 and competing with one of the toughest, most competitive MX2 classes we've ever seen.
@Boostedboats He was gifted that 2nd by other riders crashing out. When was the last time we saw a guy finish 2nd in points without winning a race? Let alone not finishing better than 3rd? He was almost 2 full races behind 1st, that's not contending. Everything great about his rookie season is a result of circumstance. He has 1 moto win and 1 overall on a day he went 2-3 and the winner of the first moto crashed out. He got the points lead at a race he finished 6th in. That doesn't happen without some serious luck. He's been good for a rookie, but the hype is over the top, and he's just flat out not as good as a lot of the top guys. Which is fine. He's a rookie. But y'all need to cool it on talking like he's out here dominating and taking it to these guys. He's just not.
Haiden Deegan is undergoing a learning year as expected. It's worth noting that not many rookies enter a series where their competitors have extensive experience racing on those tracks and have their bike setups dialed in. In this Round of the series, Haiden faced a track he had never raced on before, which meant that the bike setup wasn't optimized for that specific circuit. Additionally, being handed the points lead in a championship series at such a young age added a significant amount of pressure that he wasn't anticipating dealing with this year. It's understandable that being a rookie comes with its own set of challenges, and Haiden's performance has revealed some weaknesses, which is to be expected. However, it's important to acknowledge that holding the second position in the points standings is a testament to his riding skills and ability to compete at a high level. Criticizing Haiden and claiming that he lacks talent or doesn't belong in the series is unfair. It would be interesting to see those who speak negatively about him perform better in his position. Moreover, it's crucial to recognize that the season is not yet over, and every round presents new opportunities and challenges. Each race brings its own unique circumstances. Handling the pressure and stress that comes with leading a championship as a rookie is undoubtedly difficult. Haiden is doing an impressive job, and with time, experience, and continuous growth, he has the potential to win multiple championships in the future. Let's continue supporting Haiden's progress and development. With the valuable learning experience gained from this season, he will continue to improve and overcome the challenges he faces.
