I found this video very informative. I never knew Empress Maria Louisa became an Italian ruler. What a life she led. Thank you for making this video.
Thank you Vishnu ! Always nice to see you !
They knew what had happened to Marie Antoinette 20 years ago. And they decided: let us send another princess to France. I guess Maria Louisa sometimes thought...what 😮?
Good point ! Thanks for watching !
Princesses have always been pawns. History is littered with these women whose birth was more important than they were.
Tbf, considering who Napoleon was at the time, and that he was generally loved by the French, they probably would have considered her safe there by that point.
Take care, and these videos are so remarkable and interesting.
Thanks, you’re very kknd
Hi, awesome live history video. I enjoyed it. How are you and Rani your cat doing? I'm doing well, and so is my cat Benjamin. He says hi to you and Rani, your cute cat. We have warm weather in Ontario, Canada. How is the weather where you are? Hope to hear from you soon. I miss your live history videos. Have a great weekend. See you next video
Hi Michelle, Rani and I are fine but I’m currently focussing on some other stuff. Please hug Benjamin for me, I hope you are doing well !
His 2nd wife is relative of the disposed Marie Antoinette.
Thanks so much for watching !
Glad you are back, it was worth the wait. Hope you are well.
So glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for your continued support David !
Thank you. This woman isn't considered as much as Napoleon's Polish mistress, yet she was his wife. I appreciate the story of her life.
Thanks for watching !
Super! Another one of your excellent videos, thanks a lot for your efforts 👍👍❤️❤️
Thanks so much Christine, I really appreciate your support !
Excellent as always 🎉! Merci 🌸❤
Thank you so much Christine ❤️💐. Always good to see you!
Well done! Thanks!
Thanks so much for your continued support Cerberus ! Alway nice to see you !
Lovely to see your newest video - hope you are well 😊
Glad to see you here, I'm good. I hope you are well too !
Where’s your voice? I love your channel because you pronounce everything correctly!
I prefer your voice too.
Please see my previous videos for an explanation.
No, not perfectly. French has no laryngeal articulations, so Beauharnais isn't spoken with a pronounced "h."
I’m so happy to see another one of your videos! I hope you’re doing well. ❤
I'm doing good, thank you for asking, and thank you for watching again. I'm very appreciative!
Thank you for this video. I never knew what happened to her.
Glad you liked it Toni !
excellent video!!
So glad you liked it !
Thank you for your informative video.
Thanks for watching !
Is… is this an AI voice? If not, I apologise. If so, that’s a shame, I loved your voice.
Me too!
Please see my previous videos for an explanation.
@@TheKingsofFrance I just l looked back and could not find any explanation on the previous dozen videos. I did however notice when your voiced changed. You have a beautiful natural voice for narrating these videos. I love to listen to your channel and learn new information about the monarchs of France 🇫🇷
Ssaaaaame!!!
Too obviously AI, very unpleasant to listen to. Too bad because the content is most interesting 😢
Excellent and informative
Thank you so much !
Nice job!
Thank you so much for watching !
Very , very interesting.
❤️
No thoughts as to the premature death of Napoleon II, the first child and much sought-after heir?
Working on a video about that now. It’ll be released soon
Look at the diamonds around her neck…beautiful
Thanks for watching
Well done and very interesting subject.
We all miss your charming voice, however
Best wishes..
Yes, but I'm having a bit more time to myself this way, and quite frankly, I am OK with people having issues with the AI voice, but some people have been quite mean in the past about my real voice, which was a bit less fun for me... It's good like this for now...
@@TheKingsofFrance I find you real voice to be charming and genuine. Pay no attention to those that state otherwise. Trolls troll because they are mentally stunted.
@@TheKingsofFrance Glad you have more time, you do such a great job and we all appreciate you. Anyone who doesn't understand you or appreciate your charming voice in clearly uneducated
Interesting; I didn't know anything at all about his second wife. Her family tree is appalling, only 4 great-grandparents- her parents were lucky to have healthy children surviving to adulthood. It's horrible she had to marry someone she hated, but at least she got to marry someone she loved later on.
Thanks for watching again Beth... Glad I was able to inform you a bit more about Maria Louisa !
🤔 Did you change narration?
* l subscribed long ago and so enjoy your channel. I have been offline for awhile and was surprised by the voice, apologies for any intrusion.
yes, for personal reasons. thanks for being here…
Napoleons son died at 21, very likely of TB.
What has happened to the Napoleon’s son? How long did he live? Did he rule any country?
I will be making a video on his life shortly.
@@Arazhul12 thank you!
He died in early adulthood
A video on his life will be posted early march
Happy New Year! Is this your new hostess?
Happy New Year ! Let's say, yes ? Lol ... It's an AI voice, but I've chosen to do this for now as I've received so many complaints about my accent, and it also helps me to edit my videos much easier. Reading myself takes a LOT of time, and it takes MANY MANY tries to get things right...
@@TheKingsofFrance
I asked about the narration in an earlier comment and see your answer here. First, anything that facilitates your production and editing is great, however your voice is lovely and rude pronunciation comments are from those without a meaningful or positive life. Thank you for outstanding content that enlightens my history knowledge.
💙🤍❤
These royal bloodlines are dizzying.
Does this shed any light on who would by right rule these areas today?
First of all, I hope you are well. I miss your videos and I am glad to see that you are posting.
With respect to Maria Louisa, my dad read a biography. Not sure whose. He told me that after Napoleon's defeat at Waterloo and MT's relocation to Vienna, her father had guards posted at her bedroom door only to find out in the morning that the guard was in bed with her. I leave it to the historians to sort this out. Nevertheless, Napoleon made a social strategic mistake in divorcing Josephine, as you have pointed out.
I was in Paris in October and was staying close to Les Invalides, so I ventured there to explore. I was surprised to see that Napoleon II, King of Rome, remains were transferred to Les Invalides by order of Hitler. His heart and intestines remain in the royal vault in Vienna. From my perspective, this sounds a lot like the pharaohs of Egypt.
Thanks for sharing Paul, and thank you for your continuous support ! I appreciate it !
He didn’t really have much of a choice unfortunately, being that he needed an heir and Josephine had gotten too old apparently.
Oh, here I found the answer about Marie-Louises family 😊 Do you think the French people went: A wife from Austria - again!
They most certainly might have had that thought. She was not well liked by the public.
While I found your original voice lovely, the AI voice is quite acceptable. And I am here for the history, not to judge the narrator.
Thank you for your support ! I really appreciate that !
These AI voices are getting a little TOO good.
Hello kings of France.
Hey ! How are you ? So glad to see you again !
She was very lucky. Napoleon, essentially, did not actually treat her well. After him, she could life her life freely.
Thanking good ness it’s not an American voice Accent
She died from a stroke..
The indelible Habsburgs' chin .
What happened to little Napoleon?
a video about him will be uploaded soon.
Sacrifice for the algorithm
You mean the voice ? Not really. The algorithm doesn't really care about my channel all too much as it is haha !
No, that’s not it all. My comment is just a comment to help with algorithm. I don’t mind the voice. Comment is served as a “sacrifice” for the the god of YT. 😂
@@alexkirtel ohhh thank you !
well, considering who Marie Louise's grandmother was and who she was related to, I don't really blame Marie Louise for not caring about what happens to Napoleon or French after they were defeated in war. I would actually say: "They Made Their Beds, Now They Can Have A Nice Nap, Why Should I Care?!"
Maria Louisa's cousin did become queen of France eventually (or it could have been her niece) -this was in the person of queen Amelie who was the last queen of France - the wife of king Louis Philippe -the last king of France who abdicated in 1848 to make way (after a short second republic) for Napoleon III the last monarch of France. Amelie was a daughter of the king of the Two Sicilies .
Queen Amelie's mother was queen Carolina of the Two Sicilies who was the sister of Marie Antoinette. She met king Louis Phillipe who belonged to the junior Orleans line of the French royal family when as a prince he was in exile in Sicily during the Napoleonic period. The two became king and queen of France in 1830 when king Charles X the youngest brother of the guillotined Louis XVI was dethroned and went into exile.
Who gives a damn!
Then why are you watching ?
Quite odd that the French, having got rid of their monarchy, should allow Napolean the runty little dictator to declare himself their Emperor. Did they look back to the days of King Louis and Marie Antoinette with fondness?
Napoleon’s monarchy was considered what is called a “popular monarchy”, hence his title being emperor of the French, rather than emperor of France. Also, not so much a runt at that point.
Odder is Americans trying to install fascist supreme ruler as defender of freedom when females have fewer constitutional rights than males.
