People like Dubois, Latry, Roth, Vierne, Widor, Duruflé, Dupré, et al, must know they’ve been given a gift by their creator. How else could a human being sit there at that monstrous console and play like there was nothing to it?
Gift? Certainly aptitudes and opportunities. But please don't underestimate the 1000s of hours of hard work that have gone into what you just witnessed!
I swear, Vincent has to be Marcel Dupre reincarnated. Absolutely amazing technique and presence at the console. Makes it a point to 'caress the ear' as Dupre put it so eloquently.
youtube Vincents performance of the Dupre Evocation. Years ago was afraid that organs, organists would fade away as a moribund old art form. But new organs are being build (even in China!) and phenomenal virtuoso's like Mr. DuBois and the controversial Cameron Carpenter have now appeared. Phew. Thank you for keeping this art form alive, kicking, and evolving, and the reassurance that the new generation isn't totally addicted to their cell phones.
William, don't worry, organists do not die off. Organ playing and organ music in Germany have become immaterial UNESCO cultural world heritage (hope I put it in the right order), and I hope that other countries will follow soon. I only use my cell phone in church for taking records of me playing the organ ;-)
What a wonderful instrument, however, as in once again, the reverb in this room has a tendency to over-whelm the clarity of the melody. Listen for yourself. Sent with love. I believe in you!!! CVD

This is sublime artistry,, composer intent insight and incredible, ease of playing, from anyone, particularly a young person such as M. Dubois.
Great performance!
And from memory!!!!!
Voilà c'est ça!
OMG! Brilliant!
Just plays it like theres nothing difficult about it lol

Reincarnation is not real but a demonic inspired theory.
This is so amazing! Thank you, Vincent!
J’adore
Remarquable! Bravo! et par coeur en plus ;)
Me. Dubois has an expanded memory third generation.

That's how it's done! Thrilling, absolutely thrilling. Just don't burn the place down. Blessings on your new post.
Ma pièce préférée merci 🥰

Notre Dame Organ is amazing :D
So the commitee chose Vincent Dubois as the new co-titulaire? Really fine choice in my opinion.
Francesco Paina 2016
Amazing playing! Thank you.
If recorded with a private camcorder, then this is very good indeed. Fine organ, fine playing and a fine composer. Col, NZ
32' win anything :D
Truly stunning
I wonder when they begin to put the Cathedral back together will there be any new changes to what the Van de Heuvals did?
He makes it look easy..and no music score!
Julian Guffogg Improvisation.
@@normanchristie4524 it's not an improvisation.
my adorable child u r awe-inspiring and louis vierne would approve
Magnificent playing!
Grandissimo Vincent, bravissimo!!!!👏👏
Just a walk through the park!!!
A phenomenal organ!
Superbe et sur cet orgue en plus....
Nice to hear Vierne. I notice most of the French organ school, of playing is on the bottom two keyboards and from G2 to the top of the keyboard.
Ottima interpretazione ben legata e con armonici ottimamente strutturati 👌👌👌
Tres Grand Monsieur de l'Orgue Français !
Knap gespeeld, mooi

Vincent is SUCH a GREAT artist... but he needs to sit up straight!
Why? According to what stupid "rules"? Music appreciation is about HOW the music SOUNDS...
