      You probably shouldn’t do any substances. Especially if you’re not addicted to it and are just getting these symptoms. Seems like high risk for psychosis.

    Im not usually a huge drinker on a day to day/weekly basis.
    Dont get me wrong, Ive had 3-4 day festival experiences with constant drinking and drug abuse.
    Despite this, ive never experienced alcohol withdrawal until 2 days ago.
    I went on a 5 day drinking bender in spain with friends. I drank heavily for 5 days and barely ate anything. Once i returned and stopped drinking i was experiencing mild seizures, constant vomitting, tremors, suicidial thoughts and mild delusion/hallalucinations
    Alcohol is no joke, i realise this now

      It gets worse the more times you go through withdrawals I’m sure it’s called kindling or something, my first withdrawal was bad, second was worse and my third I had gone numb from the neck down like tingling pins and needles all over body then I had a seizure, trying to quit drinking myself I had about 4-5 seizures and bit my tongue black and blue, then ended up doing a Librium detox and now 2 years sober

Pain in my limbs, numbness in limbs, pinching sensation in butt, confusion, irritability ( will rock back and forth for hours) feels like I’m gonna pass out, eyes get unusually heavy, will close my eyes and doze off but I’ll get a major palpitation that will jolt me awake, ears ringing, losing hearing, get cold, burning sensation in my head.. there’s more. @Blackwater first let me say that im obviously not a light drinker. I started with a handle af Gin, by the fourth day 2 handles.
      It was a Sunday, and the liquor stores don't open till noon I ran out at 930 a.m., and I was in full withdrawal at the ER with a BAC of .378. They sedated me with DEX. and the next day I siesed for just over 10 mins. Then they intabated for 6 days. They had to remove the tube because I somehow was able to get ahold of it with my foot and was trying to remove it. 🙃 my hands were in mittens straped to the bed so I couldn't hurt myself from thrashing around.

    • @BlkwtrPrk
      @BlkwtrPrk Рік тому +4

      @@CannaGro81 Ah, I can imagine two. handles of gin / day would absolutely wreck anyone even after just a few days. That's like 60 drinks.
      Pretty crazy to be seizing with BAC that high!
      I did have a couple weekends where I drank like 10 bottles of wine in 3 days. Definitely got some shakes from that.

    Gradual withdrawal, if you are used to drinking 20 cans of beer a day, start with 19 cans for one week, then drop it to 18 cans the week after, then down to 17 the week after and so on. Of course, that takes self discipline and courage, there's a price to pay, discipline is the name of the game.

    • @nlytnu4214

      False. Your brain will eventually detox off the higher amount you drank not the smallest amount you got to. It’s not like quitting smoking. Half a gallon of bourbon, down to half a pint a day. Detox was calculated at half a gallon a day not half a pint. I almost died. It’s ok, I didn’t know that’s how it worked either. But now we both do. 💜

      It’s impossible to do this, I tried it at a clinic where they asked me to keep an alcohol diary, you wake up wanting to quit, but you’re being sick, you’re shaking, you can’t speak properly you’re shaking so much, your anxiety’s so bad that you can’t even speak to people you’ve known your entire life, your legs stop working and all you wanna do is get enough drink in you to stop it all by the time you get to feeling no longer sick you’re then focused on getting back to feeling “normal” eventually you’re feeling normal and life’s good again and then you simply can’t stop yourself from drinking and drinking and drinking until you eventually black out and end up waking up to do the same all over again, never ends

    I'm trying to quit but have drank atleast 4 beers every day for the last 7 years. I drink to not ever be sober but also never be drunk. Someone told me that I was the worst kind of alcoholic because I use it like a Xanax and am a non social stay at home drinker. I use it for inhibition of my anxiety and 4 beers has turned into higher percent ipas and often times more than just 4. 4 is the minimum. Yesterday I had 0 drinks for 24 hrs and went to work at 10pm that night after the 24hr without drinking I wanted to see what kind of reaction I would have to quiting cold turkey. That entire night I had sweat, hallucinations, nausea and vomiting. Thos, morning still have no alcohol and the nausea and vomiting has stopped also the hallucinations. Am I in the clear?
