Clearly you can't play two old players at the same time because of defense liability. When LeBron and Curry on the court yesterday, South Sudan started to score easily, LeBron issue was on the perimeter and Curry was cooked the first 2 games repeatedly, and it was brutal to watch how bad his defense was, yet Kerr played Curry 21 minutes when he continued to have bad shooting stretch (0 -6 from 3, 1 - 9 total). The starting lineup was a Net Negative against South Sudan, luckily the second team has a Net Plus with KD +26. LeBron didn't play well other than the first 4 minutes, he had 6 turnovers with 5 assists, he also had team-leading 6 turnovers against Serbia.
I’ve never seen such outrage over a convincing win against Serbia! Would’ve been nice to see all 12 players get minutes for global fanbase, but the job is to win the GOLD medal. Don’t blame Kerr, it is not his job to ensure all 12 elite athletes are kept happy with equal minutes.

Steve Kerr should be relieved of duty. He did not do a terrific job because he intentionally didn’t play Jason Tatum for some personal reasons. There’s no way an alternate player should get more minutes than a more talented player that can offer the same skill sets at higher rate. Also they’re 40 minute games not 48, so there’s less opportunity. It’s not impossible to play 12 players in 40 minutes, in a blow out. You can play JT at any position 2-5 literally could’ve given him 2 minutes a quarter at any position.

Kerr is just a bad coach who got lucky with Warriors. His rotation has been "fame" base, not what works with today's players. Clearly you can't play two old players at the same time because of defense liability. When LeBron and Curry on the court yesterday, South Sudan started to score easily, LeBron issue was on the perimeter and Curry was cooked the first 2 games repeatedly, and it was brutal to watch how bad his defense was, yet Kerr played Curry 21 minutes when he continued to have bad shooting stretch (0 -6 from 3, 1 - 9 total). The starting lineup was a Net Negative against South Sudan, luckily the second team has a Net Plus with KD +26. LeBron didn't play well other than the first 4 minutes, he had 6 turnovers with 5 assists, he also had team-leading 6 turnovers against Serbia.
I’ve never seen such outrage over a convincing win against Serbia! Would’ve been nice to see all 12 players get minutes for global fanbase, but the job is to win the GOLD medal. Don’t blame Kerr, it is not his job to ensure all 12 elite athletes are kept happy with equal minutes.
This is a a bad example for younger generations about team sports. Not one single player is more important than the team. Why do we need to care how many minute does one guy play? The team won impressively. Move on to the next one.
