Well, it did have much of the same production staff, including co-director Dave Powers, musical director Peter Matz, and costume designer Bob Mackie, as well as Lyle Waggoner and the Ernie Flatt Dancers, so I suppose it was likely to happen. Still very good, I think.

This one doesn't have the charm, or Joe Bova, of the 1964 TV version, but it's nice to see them in color, particularly Jane White (who wasn't--a surprisingly progressive bit of casting for its time).
