- Some home video of my boyfriend, Joe and I 'playing tourists' as we go to see the Toronto Blue Jays vs the New York Yankees on a beautiful Saturday in July. We start out in front of City Hall with an unknown singer and her stirring rendition of the traditional gospel hymn, 'One Day At a Time', echoing throughout Nathen Philips Square.
From there we walk along the north side of Queen Street in front of Osgoode Hall as I declare Joe a fool for believing in the old myth of the 'cow gate' before stopping to discuss their true original purpose.

We continue our commentary on Osgoode hall, including it's name, and what it's purpose is (where lawyers are "...inducted into lawyerism") as well as it's use for ("boring, boring, boring") wedding pictures.
We reach the University Avenue fountain where we meet some self described Toronto Freaks letting their freak flag fly! A bit about inconsequential bad Toronto drivers and we keep walking until we get to the Elephant & Castle pub at Front and Simcoe where Joe worked at the time. There we are introduced to Joe's workmates, Gabe and James before continuing on our way. Our last stop is for a pre-game puff (in Otnorot) and some 'street meat' from Shopsy's.
Finally, we're inside the world famous SkyDome enjoying the game. We make the most out of the fact that we're surrounded by New York Yankee fans who enjoyed the game too, especially their team's 8-0 win!
For anyone wondering, the Jays lost. It was 8-0 that day. I was at that game with my Mom in the 500s
This is amazinig. I was the fresh eyed age of 12 of the time of this video. Seeing everything and how it was really takes me back. Its kind of funny how fashion has come back I can definitley see people wearing clothes in this video now. Oh man thank you for uploading this video
