This channel is mostly home video of my travels, my friends & family and lgbt+ events. There's a lot from back in the 1980s and '90s of Toronto and more specifically the east end neighbourhood where I lived. I'm putting my old footage on UA-cam as a 'permanent' record. (I figure it'll be around for a while!) and to share glimpses of my life in bygone days with others .
Toronto Downtown - April, 1992. Stopping by the New Wendal Clark Billboard.
A short night time video of my friend, Denis and I having fun in and around my '70 Cougar. In the video is a billboard with a Toronto Sun ad featuring a 'fantasy photo' of the, then, Leafs Captain, Wendal Clark hoisting the Stanley Cup declaring they'll be there. We're still waiting Wendal!

Wow that billboard was really tempting wrath of The Hockey Gods
Maybe this year. Brian , I always wondered about your Cougar. When did you sell it? and how much did you get for it? Later. Keep the videos coming.
Hey Mike! i sold the cougar just before i left Toronto in 2000, i just couldn't afford the restoration, don't remember what i got for her but i sure miss that car!
@@hardyboy1959 Thanks Brian. it was a great car. something about convertibles.. I am glad you are still kicking around and filming. later.
Great memories. I miss the 90s. So much better than 2024. What do you think?
Damn, I miss living in that neighborhood. this is one of your best ones Brian.

Wow, my then girlfriend and I were there about the same time! We stayed at a hotel in Mississauga, Ontario. Drove straight from Cleveland.

2024 here so hot
Hello Brian always good to see your videos. I miss the beaches. I used to live in the beaches with my ex boyfriend in the mid 90’s. We live on Queen and Neville Park
You live at Neville Park? Hey, you are an asshole.
came here in 1985 from Winnipeg and just loved the city, I'm still here. Edmonton was better back than, less traffic, and better roads
My family came to Canada in 1784! As U.E LOYALISTS . I went to school at Bishop Strachen all my friends went to northern and other private schools...we all hung out in Rosedale........ Till I ran away from home bc my dad was physically abusive and a rage ful man degrassi jr high anyone? .. I am crying watching this video .. WTF have they done to us!!!!!!😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😠 😡 !
Wow I was a streetkid .. with almost the punks and skinheads at yonge and Wellesley st.. remember the doc Martin and Fred Perry stores anyone!?? We kept the streets CLEAN.. happy now? We're we REALLY the bad guys? No we protected our own from being robbed by migrants !
The old phone booths, my mom worked at ED TELL until Telus took them over
Things look a lot different there now these days.
Hasn't changed all that much, more condos and less carparks perhaps.
Wow, so much has changed.
I used to hate those small street signs. Hard as hell to see at night.
Got any footage from what the Eaton Centre used to look like during those years?
Great view. Having seen your vids of 80's/90's toronto I thought you might like this. Toby Swann ua-cam.com/video/BB4e6PkiRfA/v-deo.html
Great video of Toronto when it was Awesome. Moved up here in 1987 as a twenty one old. Now I’m packing and it’s my second last night in Ontario and moving back to New Brunswick. I’m 58 and it’s sad how Toronto is a Shithole now, but I’m still gonna miss it.
Stunning views. This was awesome. Cheers! ✌️

❤ Awesome Video 👈 🎥👀🤠🇨🇦
Probably the best video within a decade UA-cam has, yet a simple homemade 90s fun make & I’m jamming with Fred On this one ☝️
That was my stomping ground 2015-2024...
Love the radio segment about Radiohead’s Paranoid Android show being sold out at 2:37!
And that Trentway-Wagar MCI coach at 2:57, haven’t seen one in Toronto or anywhere else since I was a teenager circa 2003…
Damn back when Calgary wasn't full of immigrants aka Indian's and even didn't have Muslims either! 🤮
1988 was a banner year for Calgary. We had so much fun during that year. Calgary was a lot more fun in the 70's and 80's.

Hallo From 2024 😮😊🤍

Gosh i can remember when Aeroflot did the Moscow, Montreal service with their Illusion il 62 aircraft
I first observed a Wardair 727 departing from Dusseldorf, Germany presumably for western Canada via Iceland in July 1966 and then again in '73 a 747 pull up to the pier opposite in Toronto but knew very little about them until I saw the video in the aviation film museum in Montreal in the late 1990s.
Behold Alex from PEI. He has about a hundred friends named Buddy. and he is great to sit around and party with. Later Buddy.
Looked barren and run down. Thank god for all the redevelopment, especially the portlands and lower don valley.
My new consciousness: In a room on the judgement ship signing legal documents wearing a white robe with 2 lava looking lights on either side of me.On my right side fuchsia pink lava lamp and to my left a white one.The lamps were from the floor to well above head level when sitting down.😊
Totally randomly stumbled upon this, and within the first 30 seconds found someone I know! Amazing. Can't wait to let them see it tomorrow, I might really creep them out ahahaha.
nice but keep it under 100mph --ok
My babyhood is ruined!
How "ruined"? That bigoted religious conservative Jerry Falwell is to blame for making that false story that Tinky Winky "is gay" just because he is purple and seen carrying around a ladies' purse (the show's creators explained away by called it a "Magic Bag"), and a pink tutu, but he isn't "gay". Absolutely nowhere shows any of the Teletubbies' sexual orientation. Nada. The Teletubbies are obviously supposed to represent toddlers, being excited, jumping around, running, etc., which is why they have the mind of a developing baby/toddler, BTW.
🤣
Now it's all dollar stores, weed stores and liquor stores. Welcome to Canuckistan!
I miss old Toronto! Used to go all the time; haven't visited since 2012. Even then, something felt wrong, like it had changed for the worse. With the awful condos, graffiti, homeless encampments, overcrowding and rampant crime, I have no desire to visit anymore, and that's sad. Shouldn't be that way. BTW, any footage of the Humber Hump, traveling east?Great documentation, nonetheless, great work Brian!
About a month later I made the trip to Toronto that first weekend of July 1997 with my dad for a four day tour
The beginning of the destruction of Canada. Sexual immorality is everywhere now.
Tank salot for sharing them memories there isn't enuff of our earlier Toronto airshow shows. The Concorde and Vulcan you captured capture. Thankz again😊
