    every solar field ive ever done theyre always on slight 170 degree angle ( unless theres a motor) easier maintenance. less leaves snow etc.

    If you put them on a slope the rain cleans them , on the flat , you'll need to wash them often .

      Electricity doesn't flow, it grows. Solar panels just catch the nutrients nessisary to grow electrons in the electron farm.

    That's the easy part. Good luck installing an isolator and DC inverter in the loft plus running a supply from the fuse board via another isolator. That's the hard work

      Try putting the panels on a 60 degrees pitched roof 1930 clay tiles and wet and then say it’s the east part.
      Done over a 1000 jobs and your telling me running cables and dc harder

    I actually would keep more gaps between the rows n columns. Also i would keep more space between the roofing n the panels. Helps cool the panels and thus improve PV Efficiency

      @@casemodder89 this would make the installation unnecessary complicated and expensive. Also the higher the modules stand off of the roof, the more wind forces from below they need to handle which is a very limited factor on sheet metal roofs like this

      If you go again after it stops, you are in fact over-torquing what you are tightening. Obviously I accept that not everything is being done to a precise torque... but people should just choose the torque level they want in the first place and be done with it 😂

      The roof looks like aluminum sheets. Those are actually extreme long lasting.

    My question is: what sort of branch adapters/connectors did you use for these large number of panels without running into issues. I have 3 large panels which produces over 1000wp and are steadily removed daily but the branch connectors i use for them just keeps melting away due to the intense heat. I know the panels could be interconnected directly without adaptors though I still want to be professionally convinced thatb there isn’t anything like a high current mc4 adapter. Need help pls

    How do you clean the roof after several rains and leaves fall? Since the panel does not function as a roof.

    you know that you are supposed to remove the stripes, stretch them out and rest ripe them on the holes on the top/botton edges on the panels? this is just lazy and the cables and connectors are now laying on the roof where water can get to it and might erode the connection, meaning risk for lightning arch and possible fire. not good.

    That looks like K2 systems mounting hardware. There is a torque spec for the mid clamps.......is that an electric torque driver?

      The torque spec using an impact driver is "Nut that bolt down till it stops moving"

      The brackets mostly need 10-15Nm torque, the impact will most likely be over 50

      Those brackets require what size bit to screw in? Anybody remember, I remember there being a universal tool for that, and I can't remember it to save my life. Does anybody know?

      usually a short prrt is alright with an impactDRIVER. not a impactwrench. so 6mm hex or 6mm (1/4") anvil. and not a crazy strong one.

      smart people buy like 5-10% more panels of the same batch and store them for rare electric failure, thrown rocks, hail.
      but a golfball hail prolly will wreck every single panel. and also be covered by insurance (if it got insured that way)

    I Use 4 x L brackets on each panel. Sizedbaccording to angle needed. Drill down securely. Done. Cheap, quick. Dont need to bother with all the extra metal. Waste of money. Unless you have the tiled roof.

    I feel sorry for them when the needs replacing.Never fix or put it on top of asbestos
