I recommend genioplasty for extreme cases. If you have a severe lack of chin projection or severe assymetry sometimes it might be a better option for you. However for the majority of people who are just looking for better facial balance and more projection to their chin a chin implant is a great option that has less risks, an easier recovery and is much cheaper alternative
