Philippines Barber's Reaction to Our Big Tip - A Heartwarming El Nido Experience!

We arrived to El Nido and had a few errands to run, and decided to get our hair cut whilst in town! We walked around and stumbled across JoJo's barbershop, just out of town towards the supermarket. We decided to give it a go, trying out the filipino barbers! Jan was such a down to earth guy that we decided to give him a tip and he was shocked and appreciative!
It's always nice being able to do something nice for someone less fortunate than yourself, it would be so rewarding if we could do more!

Be careful when tipping!!!More than fifty cents American can make you a target. Exchange is 70to1 so just a couple of dollars is hundreds of pesos. And they are very poor.
