Speechless at 23:50:00 ...my daughter was at Australia world youth day. She was 18. She has been away from the Church for sometime now and this revelation and act of charity by Fr Blount stunned me into tears with a new conviction of Faith and Hope for her soul. Oh, how the Lord gives us signal graces and reminders that He is listening to our pleas is astonishing.
Thanks be to God for the hope of healing various ailments that I have keeping me in a wheelchair and unable to get to Mass.
While waiting for the healing I am offering up the pains and privations in reparation for my sins and that of my family.

I have always had my doubts about the charismatic movement. It was so unnatural in terms of people losing it (self control, singing, speaking in tongues). So unlike any experience of the Holy Mass. However, there is something about this priest. When he talked about the welcome home song in heaven, it hit me and bought tears to my eyes. Never had that before. My prayers for you Father Blount. May the Holy Spirit guide you always.
I feel the same way about the charismatic movement. It reminds me so much of Protestant services and I don’t like that. All the yelling and praying out loud, etc. it ain’t for me. Got me staring at people like 😐😑🤨

It won’t. Hundreds of years of prophesies from saints and laymen foresaw this era - this period of persecution and testing. The finale is the great tribulation, as Mary has warned. I’ve pondered this and realized, even as dark as things have become, society will not turn back to God without it. We need a great shaking. But as Pope Saint John Paul the Great said, echoing the words of Jesus, “Be not afraid!”. Always remember: God wins. We were made for this time in history. We are meant to be here; to pray for as many souls to be saved as possible and to witness to His unfathomable love and mercy❤️
