0:10 "My name is Hannu Mikkola". He presents himself as if people wouldn't know who he is, needing introductions. We all know you are the legend. Humble man. Godspeed to you Sir.
Feel so sad in these perilous, times. Such a privilege to have followed him virtually from very early on. So many special memories and such happy times. RIP GREAT great man, you join a very special group of exceptional personalities that we owe so much to. Warmest condolences from a huge fan base here in little Wales 🏴🏴🇫🇮🇫🇮
Time Rallying went back to the early days when professional mixed with grass roots. Not just the team with the biggest budget winning all of the time.. Waaay back skill was king.
Find memories of seeing Jammu rallying in Britain in the escort and Quattro back in the day and like he said, they where longer then as I experienced following the Lombard RAC rally for four days all over Britain. Good old days, GRP4 & GRP B sadly missed.
Well for what is worth...every time I watched Hannu in an Escort, he was always way ahead of the pack. He was calm and relaxed, and all the others had to chase like mad just to keep up.
people would rave on how spectacular Ari, Pennti, Pond, Stig etc were ... while Hannu just kept it clean, neat and tidy, and was usually leading them all .....
It’s so sad what rallying has become he’s bang on with his advice basically these days unless you’ve got millions or are sons or family of established drivers you’ve basically gotta stick at amateur level such a shame the way it has went from production cars

Glyn Mole what? So Henri, Juha, Tommi, Carlos, both Sebs weren't as good? If you really think so you have no idea what you are on about.
Between him and Seb Loeb but certainly the best of a golden era!

They should always include a pedal cam to these videos, just that these playstation generation boys and girls can see the footwork.
