The Warriors Arc 1 books (aka Books 1-6) are the only ones of the main series I’ve read and they tell such a phenomenal story from beginning to end that I enjoyed even more than any of the three WOF arcs. I have roughly no idea what happens in the following books that take place afterwards, but these original six left me so satisfied and I highly recommend them entirely for the quality entertainment value.
I can tell you from someone who has read almost all of the arcs but gave up, the first arc is basically the only good one. They just get worse and worse as they go on, although I really enjoyed Dawn of the Clans and you don't have to read any other books to read that arc. The second arc is the only arc slightly close to the quality of the first arc, but it still is pretty terrible.
I understand the Warrior cats isn't a well written series, but that hasn't stopped me from reading pretty much every book out there. Wings of Fire is better written, but despite the dragons, I find warriors to have a more interesting world. I read WOF for the characters, the setting and story aren't super interesting to me. Overall I prefer Warrior cats, but at the end of the day I enjoy both and they are pretty similar.
I like this update! I really enjoy your WOF videos but I also really enjoy when you talk about other topics. I’m very excited to hear you talk about Pokémon and Warriors if you decide to. Oh, and happy anniversary!⭐️⭐️⭐️
Congratulations on the anniversary! We all understand if it’s getting boring- and we’ll all support you on this! And by the way for the Warriors series, there IS A LOT of books to read- so start if you want to honestly 😅 see you in charcoals den!
Charcoal...be careful. I am happy that you're finally making yourself feel comfortable with your channel...but considering stepping into the Warriors series...you can never go back after that...choose wisely... (Yes, I am purposely being dramatic...or am I?) (PS: yes. Yes I am).
If you need suggestions for books/book series to read, here’s a few I recommend: -Warrior Cats -Seekers -Bravelands -Guardians of Ga’Hoole -Silverwing series -Bionicle books/comics (you’d be surprised how many there are) -Pokémon manga
Nice! I’ve planned to read warriors too but idk where to start. I was instantly overwhelmed by the sheer amount of books and not knowing which one to read first
Into the wild is the first book that was made and is a really good introduction into the series. Personally I feel it starts getting dry after a while (theres like 70 books including all of the extras so yeahhh) but the first series is a really good one imo
Just read as much as you want to. Start with the first arc, it's probably the best. If you like it, try the others! You'll probably never run out of content.
I would love for you to do a video on Bionicle. I spent most of my childhood with the newer version of Bionicle, and even dabbled a bit in Hero Factory, but I did read some of the books from the original Bionicle, and it's quite a story! Definitely worth a video, if not whole series!
That’s fine it’s okay to branch out if you want to change content since there hasn’t been a new book since flames of hope and the field guide coming out on October 3rd have a good day and don’t worry if you have nothing to say about the wings of fire fandom.
Say Charcoal, I’ve been wondering. Since you’re a big fan of trains and Thomas, I was wondering if you could do a Char Rambles video on my series, Redcliff Railway Tales, in a similar vain to your GeoTrax and Thomas videos. I’d love to know your thoughts on it and what you think I could’ve improved on, and I’d love my series to get more attention, as it’s currently where most of my filmmaking energy and passion is going into.
I have a really good idea for content a warrior cats youtuber named bright guardian akira makes these challenge videos where she sets a challenge topic and in her discord server everyone makes fanart and stuff of it you could do the same with wings of fire like: wings of fire gender swap or another kind she does is "fix art" it is only a joke where they change it and stuff you don't have to do this its only an idea
for the falcon au in the first book it says the skywing egg dark dark red with bits of gold or smthing like that I think you should have designed falcon a bit more with that but its just an au also idk if this was a typo but in book 1 kestrel says that the skywing egg was a girl
Ok hey charcol i wanted to ask a quick question would you ever bring back the "cloesr look" series? If so could it be something where we can submit our own fantribes for you to look at? I have a few that i can more or less describe but mine would probably be for your shorter videos
If you’re using the links from any video descriptions, those won’t work. That was an older server that I closed. There’s a link in my About page that should work
If you wanna test how good Warrior cats is, I recommend starting with Tallstar’s Revenge and Crookedstar’s Promise before the first arc (though ideally, begin with the first arc). Also, watch out for the uncomfortable pedophilic relationships between apprentices and warriors (there are a lot)
The fact that you recognize what you want and don’t want to make rather than what gets the most veiws is a good sign of a good content creator
You should also read Guardians of Ga’hoole.
Agreed

I’ve read the fisrt 2 arcs as well at one novella and a super edition

@@rumbogumbo4572 that’s a bummer to hear. I’d be eager to see how awesome Bramblepaw gets later on, but not if the story is lame

Hey Charcoal, Think Fast: What is your favorite Bjork album?
I heard that there is a new graphic novel book 7 coming out at the end of this year
