Yeah same here, both infuriating and sad to see the amount of people who are underprepared and underestimate the mountains in the Lake District. Credit to these lads for showing the correct and only way to go about it
@sallyread1 Are you a mountaineer? If so, you'd understand that is an accepted practice... Or would you rather people drilled any number of bolts into the rock to enable such routes? (Which is popular in many countries all over the world)
@sallyread1 I'm now confused. One second you're saying don't provide a disclaimer on a video warning people of dangers (maybe you'd prefer there not to be a disclaimer?), and now you're saying don't provide a service to people keeping them safe? I understand not everyone will see value in what we do, but never have we had a client finish a day and say 'I feel ripped off'. We don't force our services on anyone, they get in touch with us afterall! You've clearly got a bee in your bonnet over this / us so it may be best for the conversation to stop here...
Viewed this after seeing Wasdale mountain rescues status, scary to think this is what walkers are falling in to.
Certainly! Really sketchy downclimbing on super slippery rock - gives me the shivers!

Excellent that, would be an awesome winter ascent
I assume you leave a bit of rope behind on each abseil ?
Yeah, we had to leave a lot of tat in the ghyll to achieve the descent.

@@sallyread1 I don't think watching Adventure Sports media is for you then...
