the original and first known version of welcome to heartbreak. the difference between this and the released version is in the beat. the most notable differences are the absence of the piano keys on this version, different drums, and also more loud and prominent synths. the loud synths that play throughout the song in this version are also in the released version, but theyre much more quiet in that version and only play during the third chorus. the beat change was likely due to this version being leaked before the album with the song dropped

Infuriating that he scrapped this version. This is a top 5 Kanye song as it was originally made. Subbing piano for the synth makes it not even top 15.

i kinda agree. i think the pianos fit the mood of the song better, but the synths sound way more powerful and makes for a more better sounding song
