I have no data, but I figure a lot of wargamers would prefer less complex builds because they only need the model for the game. But everyone's different. Well detailed gaming models seem fairly popular.
Just built one of these today. Really nice kit, I found the gaps in the tracks can be pretty much eliminated with a bit of persuasion. And the gun breach will sit flat with a little work. Really looking forwards to painting it.
very nice video!! but one little detail bothers me, the gun breech is mounted a bit tilted in real life, instead of straight. but well thats just me being nittpicky :p
I'm not sure of the official name for the tool behind the cleaning rods, but it's a big crowbar thing for working on track repairs (or probably for whatever else they might need a big crowbar thing).
Don't worry the shackles should be the same on the rear anyway they protection bars are thick enough can't even see the lights! Are these the model's you chuck the marbles or something at? No surprise there that thick then haha
"Enough spruing around" , shame to say i'm still chuckling to myself at this.
HAHAHAH me too
Having put together the Resin and metal M-18, I am glad you were spared the pain of dealing with metal headlight covers.
I've encountered them before! Do not want!
thats a nice Hellcat.. very good as usual from italeri..
now.. its off to the ''to paint'' box and sit for years... will it ever see paint?! XD
The commander has the one ring to rule them all!
Nice detailed model for a game piece, I'm a modeller first and wargamer second and wonder if wargamers are as charmed by having to assemble so much.

I really love 56mm and 48mm scale tanks, something about it is just the right size of detail and hand sized models.
Thank you so much!
I have a couple of these to build and this is such a massive help.
03:56 Woops!
Seriously though, this really tempts me to get this kit...though that temptation is kept at bay by my joblessness! Great build!
nicely done! could you ever do a 1/48th scale aircraft kit?
Looks interesting and good - just like the video. Keep it in mind.Maybe get a kit one day.

Hellcat? Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty...
I love the hellcat so I wanna know is this “beginner friendly” or is this extremely advanced?

When you need an AFV that can be ticketed for speeding on interstate highways, accept no substitutes.
